Mine is in East Boston this morning, and it just has to be moved to Regular Boston for it to be delivered to me. I've seen FedEx deliver a day early without any explicit update, so it could happen...
I think mine will arrive in LAX in less than an hour. Don't know if they will deliver them early though. I wish !

Now mine is in South Boston. I can't tell if movement is positive, or if it just is getting primed to be delivered tomorrow. I'm not sure how possible it is for it to go out for delivery after 8:30am.
Mine was (and still is technically) set for delivery by 4/15 at 10:30 am (International Priority), and did the same trip through Japan y'all have been talking about. Landed in Boston (from Memphis) a little after 7 this morning, at 8:30 it was out of the airport and closer to the city, and at 8:35 it said "On FedEx Truck For Delivery . . .". So it looks like there's a decent chance I'll see it today.
Pretty impressive when you think about the short turn around times FedEx had in Japan, and especially in Memphis in the middle of the night last night and in Boston early this morning.

Just like that, mine is also on a vehicle for delivery. Fantastic. I can't wait. I guess ours are on the same Boston truck. Pretty crazy that they were in Japan yesterday.
I'm guessing those short turn around times are exactly why they quoted us the 15th when it seems like many of those who paid for expedited shipping (including me) are "On FedEx truck for delivery". The customs process could've taken longer and pushed it all back a day. I noticed that a few of the flights out of Memphis in the middle of the night were late in departing, and I wonder if they delayed any flights to make sure that everything made it. (I'm not saying they did that specifically for the MacBooks, just that it's probably a regular occurrence).
And just like that, it has made it to my desk. Not bad considering it was in Memphis at 4:30 this morning and in Japan at 1:30 pm yesterday Boston time...
Quick question, for any that received:
The 'brick' for the new macbook looks like it has the same removable wall plug, and also SEEMS like it would fit the standard MbP power extension cable. Can anyone confirm?

Evidently, and according to the Fedex tracking information, my shipment was "in transit" since 4.11.15, yet it sat somewhere in Shanghai for 4 days...it seems that the tracking information is a little misleading. I'm happy for those that have already received them and posted their impressions.

Technically yes. I can only imagine what the logistics is like ensuring delivery times for Apple and Fedex, and I all in all, the relatively prompt delivery is pretty good considering the options. I hope you get delivery today.

If I had looked at the Oakland outbound flights, that would have been clear yesterday, but I was still hoping it would go straight to Memphis. My take on this is that the planes seem to be more full than when I got the riMac.
It's not an error. It's because the time over there is ahead of our time by several hours, so it technically was the next day over there while it was still the same day over here. Fedex is reporting local times on tracking which is why it looks screwed up.
