It's ere!
It arrived this morning, perfect. Worth every single penny. I can't find a flaw in it!! i LOVE frontrow, and think it makes the laptop. loving the 'It Just Works' bit of having a mac, after sooo many years of rubbish windows.
Looking forward to having a pleasurable time now, as opposed to a fight with my old windows!

I think these TNT folks are getting sick of the apple customers getting impatient. Lets keep nagging!

I got early up in the morning and called TNT to ensure that they'd deliver today - and I tried if I could get them to deliver in the morning or at least tell when the delivery would happen, but no luck. I left for work at 2pm, but arranged it, so that they could deliver to one of my friends instead as I live in a dorm (you have to print out a nice formula from the TNT website). I checked with him if TNT had delivered at 5pm, but they hadn't. Hmm ... I gave TNT a call, but the person I talked to couldn't see where the package was except that the status was "Out For Delivery". Two hours later I try to call again and the next person I talked to could see that the driver didn't succeed to deliver the package before the end of the work day. Tomorrow is a holiday here, so no change of delivery. I asked if I at least could ask them to deliver within a time range on Friday as I had just misused a day sitting at home, but she was in Sweden (the Danish office was closed by then) and didn't had the power to do that, however she proposed that I could pick up the package myself even though she had no idea of where the package is stored. Now I've to wait until Friday morning to give TNT a call. I'm never ever going to use TNT again - this is just torture!
Sorry for the little too long post, but I had quite some anger to let loose

Delivery May 29th... No chance og delivery Friday :-(

At least both of us get to dream about the MacBook (once more!) while sleeping tonight instead of sitting up all night checking it out.

Experience begs to differ... I've often had Apple ship things in the evening only to have them delivered the next morning in Stockholm. I'd say there's a very good chance we'll see them on Friday. In fact, I would be surprised if we didn't...

Yeah, it's crazy... i've been checking every tracking site at least 20 times every day ever since last thursday
And i'll keep doing that untill the TNT tracking says the magic words "Out For Delivery" (hopefully friday)

think I'll have to fake illness cause I can't wait till tuesday to get this wonder!! especially not since I know there is a very good chance of it being at my door step friday!
and I totally agree with you and larsd - I've been checking the delivery status at least 2 times per hour when I've had the chance - hoping that the fact that I look will make some magic change...
just got off the phone talking with a TNT employee, and there is something everyone might be interested in:
"Apple uses the cheapest way of delivery hence, the parcels are actually transported by ROAD and FERRY from Arnhem to Northampton and then to final destination and NOT by flight"
Tht explains awhy it sometimes takes so much time to receive deliveries and International Hubs like Heathrow are not used...

Makes sense and all the more reason Apple should offer us an option for faster delivery at an extra cost of day £10,

Mine had slight update, it flew from Dublin to Shannon airport and i'm keeping my fingers crossed it goes out for delivery today, if not it should definetly be here tommorow...

Thats awesome be sure to post some pics when you get it....I also spoke to TNT and they told me mine arrived in Amsterdam in a flight this morning, so with a bit of luck it could be in London tommorow.....

That gives me some hope.. I've been lurking here for a while to see how all the pudong victims of 8:00 may 21st are faring. I know of a few that were initially on the same flight as ours and they got their macbooks yesterday!
My status also hasn't updated since a few days ago. I just called TNT and they couldn't tell me anything (had to call a special number since today is a public holiday here). IF mine is also in Amsterdam there's still a chance of me getting it before the weekend since that's where I live.. Arnhem would probably do as well. Another thing to take into account though is that since today is a holiday here they will probably just put all the parcels on the todo pile for tomorow. Then again, for all I know mine is still lying in a dusty corner in Pudong. I don't think I should be ordering any desireable machinery online anymore, I don't seem to be able to handle this...
