Looks like our MacBooks have parted. My TNT tracker only says pickup date 26 May 06 with delivery on the 30th. Oh well, it's a good thing I'm a patient girl...erickg said:

And a another friend, were his macbook was in Suzhou the 22th, and also had problems, his macbook arrived yesterday in Arnhem. I'm really angry, why this is taking so long 😡 And we also have a holiday today so the customer service is closed, mayby TNT itself also.

I'm really pleased with it - and I'm a picky bastard so that's praise indeed!
Runs cooler than my TiBook 800 (around 40-50C on battery with light usage according to the CoreDuoTemp utility, and throttled back to 1.5GHz). Am typing this with it on my lap.

Also, the UPS tracker says they've only received billing details, and it doesn't indicate that they have collected it yet. I ordered my BTO from apple.be, with education, on the 16th but my wiretransfer was only confirmed the 18th. So i guess we're pretty much in the same situation.. My MB is collecting dust in Shuzou, it hasn't even made it to the airport 🙁 .mjdyson said:

Well dude, I wouldnt know what to believe. TNT tell me its at a global hub - and their website says its at the Airport.
I ordered early on the 17th through the UK education store (14% discount for affiliated Universities!). It's crazy how one cancelled flight can caused so much hassle to the system.
Shadowmoses is in the same situation and will no doubt keep us informed about his findings with TNT tomorrow!

Congrats to those who have had an update. I'm plesed to say my macbook seem's faultless.
Ran a heap of stuff and everything seems perfect, no 'mooing', no 'whining', no 'dead pixels', no issues at all infact.
It's warmer than my ibook G4, its about the same tempreture as my powerbook 1.5ghz
It's a lovely laptop and the screen is a marvel after the poorly lit / dull 12" screens its replacing.
The touch pad is nice, ansd while the two button simulation is nice (place 2 fingers on the pad and press button) it would still be better with 2 buttons (its massive so why not?)
I went for 80gb, with a few applications installed i'm down to 52gb and I havent installed CS2 yet... Plus I want windows on it, either small partition or parallels.
So i've decided to do a clean format and delete a few bits I dont need like Garageband, printer drivers & extra languages. That should free up 4-5 gb

On a brighter note.. notice how my import was received at 5.22 vs your 7.14... I think this is a pretty clear indication that Sweden > Norway, no? 😉 (disclaimer: I am in no way related to Sweden (I'm Dutch/American), nor do I actually believe the previous statement to be true. I love Norway and Norwegians and might even like the country slightly more than Sweden. 😀 )

same here. my macbook was coming from shanghai. supposedly, the flight departed on the 22. no sign of it since then. does not show up on tnt or flextronics. are you people saying that even if it does not show up on tnt's tracker, it could already be on the move? should i call them aswell, see what they have to say?
