Hasn't Apple charged you yet? ... That's weird

Doesn't show up on my online credit card statement yet. Maybe there's just a delay? I bought it from Apple's Swedish store with my Dutch credit card... hope that doesn't complicate things.

edit: I just checked the statement again and it's under "outstanding authorizations", so I guess it has at least been reserved.

I bought an iMac a few years ago from the Austrian store with my UK credit card and that confused them a bit. They emailed me to confirm, and then everything was fine.

I bought an iMac a few years ago from the Austrian store with my UK credit card and that confused them a bit. They emailed me to confirm, and then everything was fine.

I really don't hope they e-mail me. Wouldn't be able to stand any delays! At least the address linked to my Dutch creditcard is also the shipping address in Sweden.

You should maybe contact them by phone right now to confirm if everythink is OK... so you won't be suprised by a delay!

Ya, but that might give me too much of an edge in our race. I think I'll just take my chances and see if they contact me. It seems like everything is in order.

Thats so cool, quick question though is it worthwhile to keep on checking after 6PM UK time tonight or do I have to lose hope until tomorrow morning?

They contacted me fairly quickly (as far as I remember from 4 years ago), so you're probably ok! Hope all the MacBooks come soon!

I'd say this all happens in China and email notification is all automated.

Another way of checking if your order is on the way.

Go into your order status screen. Click to modify order/cancel.

If you can cancel your order it's not ready to ship (you wont actual cancel obviously you just dont confirm) - however if you get a red error message, it means your order is getting ready to ship and should be shipped in a matter of hours....

How accurate is that? I'm getting the red text telling me that I can't cancel, and my BTO white MacBook isn't suppose to ship for another 6 days!

I ordered it just last night. White, maxed out HD, 2.0 GHz.

Damn that's fast, I was expecting some bug with the credit card transaction that would take me a day or two resolved — just my luck since it has happened to me before.

Ok.... Now it seems that Apple hasn't charged my card as stated before...
They only "reserved" the final amount right after i did my order... And now the money is back... I totaly forgot this practice is common... Its their way to see if you have the money ... So now I can see that my order hasn't been shipped. When i see a that the money is charged then they usually ship

I tried that..and it would not let me cancel...instead I got this message:
We're sorry, the items on your order can not be cancelled online. Click on "Why can't these items be cancelled?" to learn more. If you still have questions please visit Customer Service online or call 1-800-676-2775.

Does this mean my MacBook will be shipping soon?
(I haven't recieved an email from Apple regarding shipping yet)
