I get anything... Maybe because its too early? I got the shipment email today...
I'm going to join the party to say thanks. I'm waiting for a MBP17 and tried the 'cancel' thing a few mins ago and got the red notice saying I couldn't cancel. I'm hoping my machine is sitting somewhere with the rest of your MacBooks waiting to be picked up by FedEx.

From my past experience with FedEx Tracking, they're not very up-to-date. I've had packages delivered and they wouldn't update the status online until 12 hours later. Meanwhile with UPS, I've seen them update their tracking status 15 minutes after package delivery.
Anyway, I got an e-mail late last night telling me that my MacBook shipped. I placed the order late Wednesday, the Apple e-mail states a delivery of May 26, but FedEx tracking hasn't listed a date yet (unsurprisingly).
It's white, 2 GHz, BTO 120 GB HD. I'm so excited! My second Mac!

It's not like I've been checking the status on Apple's site every half hour. Might as well continue on apecode.

Same here. I can't cancel but it doesn't seem to have shipped yet. From past experience I know that FedEx picks up at the factory between 6 and 630 PM. I *doubt* they would have saturday pickups so it looks like we're waiting until Monday ... :-(

I could have just bought it with the standard HD and then upgrade it later, but I got a little cold-feet about whether it MIGHT void the warranty. So I though that I would just suck it up and play it safe. I don't mine that much, for my needs, the new MacBook is a bargain compared to the MacBook Pros.
And don't worry, you'll get your MacBook soon enough

Thats the positive side of living in US and using Fedex... Here in Europe, or at least in Norway, its by TNT... and everyone knows TNT= suck big time

And me you too! I actually ordered a 2.0CD/80GB firstly but then decided that the SuperDrive I wouldn't really need, and nor the extra speed so, I saved myself £130
I've also ordered a 1GB chip from eBay (Crucial) ready and waiting to go in. In the mean time, I shall enjoy my iBook G4 soon to be finding itself a new home
