MacBook speakers run at same time as Bluetooth speaker

I have a MacBook Air running Sierra and was wondering if there is a way to run a bluetooth speaker but also have the speakers on my laptop working at the same time? Thanks.

I use an OSX application called 'airfoil' to do this and lots more.

Thanks, I tried 'airfoil' and was not able to control the volumes between the computer and the bluetooth speaker independently so I'm just going to take the speaker back.
