MacBook with Blu-Ray, Networked HDTV from Apple?

If what we're seeing is the form factor of the new MB(P), then I have a hard time envisioning a Blu-Ray drive, since they are larger than what would fit in the apparent size of the new computers.

It is not so much the size, its the heat.

I would be so pleased with a apple tv and if they were reasonable enough in price would buy a couple of them. Would be a great way to show slideshows to my clients in the studio without any boxes connected so would look nice and clean on the wall 🙂

I really don't see Apple making televisions at the best of times; it's a low margin, highly competitive, saturated market. In the current economic climate, zero chance.

Blu-ray support is good though, I don't want it now, I may do in the future.

Couldn't you say the same about the mobile phone market before Apple entered?

So why are there Windows notebooks with Blu-Ray drives? Do they somehow dissipate this "heat" better than MacBook/Pros?
