Yes, it is booting from a Samsung 970 Evo NVMe connected to one of the cMP 3,1 PCIe x16 slots via a Highpoint 7101A-1 SSD card (not a cheap card at around $250)

Do an SMC reset and check if your BT card came back to live. This has IMHO nothing to do with Big Sur or OCLP - there are simply too many other users running your type hardware without any problems. Since you did not wrote which installation method you used I can only assume it was OCLP.

Would be nice if you could be more precise with your issue descriptions. No one owns a really working glass ball here. And with the glass balls there is no such thing a an SMC reset 🙂

Furthermore I had to redo the pairing in each OS version after switching.

I use a Samsung 970 Pro on Highpoint 7101 My macPro 12 Cores 2010 using Opencore Martin Lo 068 but no luck with Big Sur 11.3 or 11.4 beta

Reset does not work 10 times tried everything. I say the same as soon as I entered the installation immediately stopped working. in sierra and windows everything works fine! in the boot menu too !!

Rebuild the OLCP EFI following the docs and make sure your iMac12,2 is recognized properly in the patcher app. If not set the machine by hand. Set NVIDIA metal patch manually, too.

To help out, we're mainly asking for the following:
- Machine model (ie. iMac14,2)

I DON’T recommend to anyone install BigSur right now with a non metal GPU. It’s only to test the patches.
And DO NOT INSTALL THIS AS YOUR MAIN SYSTEM, it’s buggy, a lot of errors and more.
Only for testing and in another partition/external drive

Installed 11.4b1 over 11.3b8 on my MBP5,2 17", on an external (USB) SSD, using OCLP 0.1.0. Working well.

Then also tried the OCLP public beta. This is very promising, to say the very least!
The system is using an NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT.
Big thanks khronokernel, ASentientBot and all involved.

(Of course I left the internal (SATA) production SSD, with Catalina 10.15.7, untouched).

Windows and OCLP on the same disk does not work. Remove the OC folder from the internal EFI partition (read the OLCP or OpenCore docs how to manage this and get used to it). You need to use an SD card or USB thumb drive to store the OC EFI.

Have you first run the dosdude1 rom upgrade for APFS and NVMe support? Then rebuild a new USB installer using OCLP 0.0.22 or later using the correct MP gestalt and parameter setiings. Install and if successful, finally copy correct EFI folder files from USB installer to NVMe SSD EFI folder on HP7101A for USB-free booting; Ausdauersportier described this last step in a previous post a few pages back. Here's what my system information firmware version looks like.

what you mean by OCLP and Windows on the same Disk doesnt work? u mean the same partition or Physical Disk? am asking because i have OCLP in the EFI Partition and Mac and Windows on each seperate partition all on one SSD

The issue is not the software, it's the hardware. Specifically sourcing compatible hardware. Currently there are no socketed Broadcom cards with the BCM4425 used in the M1 series. For reference, we don't have the BCM4364 or BCM4355 used in the iMac Pro or the 2019 Mac Pro. Seeing as we've gone over 3+ years with the iMac Pro's release, and no sight of their cards on socketed cards, it's extremely unlikely we'll see any vendors such as Fenvi release products utilizing the BCM4425 chipset.

Currently we're locked at the BCM43602 chipset, and for the foreseeable future this is what users will max out at for natively supported modules

Sorry—cannot remember. This was the guide I used and it is the NVMe part of the MacPro 6,1 rom.

Small problem, dosdude's ROMtool.zip won't unzip on 11.3 RC. The icon appears for a second and then disappears!
Tried Unarchiver, Pacifist, Archive Utility and same result each time.
Is there another tool for dumping ROM?
