Hard to say. For the most part we've got the same hardware, but I replaced the stock AHCI drive with an NVMe SSD and adapter, and I may have software installed that affects OCLP stability. I've run Sonoma for about a year, and at first I had kernel panic freezes every day or two. As of now, with 14.7.1 and OCLP 2.1, those are far less frequent. I'm satisfied with the performance on the main MBA. I have another MBA, as you can see in my sig, that's on Sequoia. It's a simpler setup for a machine I use as a backup and as a testing device. I've had no issues with it, but I'd rather not press my luck with the main laptop, so I'm sticking with Sonoma for a few more Sequoia updates before upgrading. On the whole, if I were you and reading this, I'd be cautiously optimistic about installing Sonoma, particularly if everything on your MBA is stock and you don't have exotic software installed that might trigger hard crashes.hi dogen,
I have the same MBA, stock 1.7Ghz, 8G RAM. Would just need Monty 12.7.6.
Any issues or experiences to expect?
