That is what mine did yesterday, Checked update in settings because I still had a red badge on my dock, so apparently it wasn't done with the update rebooted after then did the root patches!I'm getting a consistent WindowServer crash when booting RC3, can't get to the desktop therefore can't reinstall Post-install patches, really annoying! šā¹ļø

Becuz we are bored?š„±A quick question from boring old guy who only runs the RTM or later versions these days on several legacy Macs.
May I ask if you have a sec, why you guys install the RC:s and betas these days on Sequoia?
I assume only on test or dev machine or in hope for a fix of something that is not working for you?
If not, where things stand with OCLP, I would assume we may well run into trouble sooner or later down the road?
Also, the advantages of running betas are typically not substantial this late in the dev cycle. Right?
Or am I missing something obvious? I often do š.
Late in the development cycle there is little risk and any improvement is appreciated. All of the updates from 15.7.7 have been rock solid. Bored or not, these updates have been faultless. There may still be bugs left, but on the whole, Sequoia is very stable as it is now. So why not update?A quick question from boring old guy who only runs the RTM or later versions these days on several legacy Macs.
