Off topic, but congratulations. Enjoy the baby while you can... as I'm sure you've been told by everyone you know already, but time really does fly when it comes to kids. And in my experience, it was much easier when they were babies, toddlers, etc. Once they get to be 10-12 years old, it becomes a much larger time investment for you. Not to mention that's when you start to worry every time they leave the house.
My oldest nephew has taught me that! I swear I was just changing his nappies a few years ago, but he's just gone and got a car and his learner's permit!!!

We need integration with DeepSeek. At least in the rest of the world. The model is already unattainable by the West in the real world. It can prevent an even greater fall.

I’m using Tahoe and despite the fact that you can now change the folders colors… it would be nice to have a darker hue for the folders when Dark Mode kicks in…

Is this implemented on GG? Or Folders can only show one color for both Light and Dark Mode?

Apple won’t be able to integrate any provider that does not work with Private Cloud Compute.

If you want to use DeepSeek you can download OpenCode and configure it with an API key. OpenCode can let remote and local models run commands on your machine or edit some kinds of documents if the host apps allow it. Only use API with a provider that has a strong privacy policy.

Companies will be able to set up their apps to work as model delegation providers through Siri Extensions locally, you don't need PCC in the mix. So you can set up the OpenCode CLI or any other to work as a model provider:

When Liquid Glass is set to 'More Tinted', colours from content surrounding the Dock begin to reflect off it.

I like it, reminds me a bit of the old Mountain Lion / Mavericks Dock.

Safari 27 adds support for Global Privacy Control

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, it must be honored by covered businesses as a valid consumer request to stop the sale or sharing of personal information. Even if you're not in California, most websites will accept the signal and honor your preference.

does any one here like golden gate?
im reading on tech sites how the pundits are "meh" but the Mac owners are optimistic.
one point I noticed is the "experts" keep on missing is the
improved air drop which the comments are making the writers aware of this nice aspect.

Overall I'm a bit meh about GG. Half the stuff I liked about Tahoe has been taken away, and I still feel a little bitter about it, but it does run well. I think the focus on behind-the-scenes stuff is paying off.
