I haven't looked into it. What are you saying? You can show/hide stuff on menubar now?Right but it’s literally built in macOS now and I haven’t seen it mentioned anywhere.

But what about the inverse? Will Intel apps that are not updated for Silicon stop working with Golden gate?Golden Gate doesn't run on devices with an Intel chip.

Like iPadOS has? … maybe for touch coming.Lots of weird jiggly movement in macos these days. Jiggly blob animation ... I guess jiggly blobs are "in" these days? Very strange. The Truffle Shuffle.
No,Intel app will work for one more year. But what about the inverse? Will Intel apps that are not updated for Silicon stop working with Golden gate?
Yes:I haven't looked into it. What are you saying? You can show/hide stuff on menubar now?
Apparently you missed it. iOS 27 does not support the the RDP protocol for remote back ups. It will no longer access the drive at all unless I put it in an external case and connect USB.Why?
No one have said if it does or not, but I presume it will have an on/off button when launched. If not then I will be staying with what I haveSo mostly Siri AI and Apple Intelligence, either of which are compelling reasons for me to jump on 27 upon release.
I sure hope that the released version will continue to have an on/off butting for Apple Intelligence, I understand that the beta might not as they clearly want/need feedback on the new features.
Try the Reduce motion option in Accessibility.Lots of weird jiggly movement in macos these days. Jiggly blob animation ... I guess jiggly blobs are "in" these days? Very strange. The Truffle Shuffle.
that's my thinking too, and I noticed a typo in my post, should read "neither are compelling ..."No one have said if it does or not, but I presume it will have an on/off button when launched. If not then I will be staying with what I have

yea, that would be nice and eventually I will install 27, though I will say that my M1Max Studio runs still great after all this time so I'm certainly not compelled to upgrade my HW 😉I think the compelling reason to jump on 27 is that all the x86 code (other then Rosetta) has been stripped out which could theoretically make for a leaner more responsive system
It's very early so few noticed that AI tidbit about changing weak passwords for you. That means AI will have to impersonate you log into websites and change your passwords. Yeah no thanksIs anyone on this site against 'AI'?
I understand the fascination but the consequences of its use on the environment (and people's critical thinking) are beyond scary.
Thankfully I didn't left 1Password when Apple expanded their Passwords. It's very early so few noticed that AI tidbit about changing weak passwords for you. That means AI will have to impersonate you log into websites and change your passwords. Yeah no thanks
Yeah, seems the only way to fix that entirely is to turn on Reduce Transparency. I've been doing that ever since the first version of Liquid Glass, along with Increase Contrast, so I rarely see the kinds of issues a lot of people have been seeing with LG.Control Centre is still glassy AF even with slider maxed out.
Toned down corner radius/radii and LG slider aren’t compelling?!?!So mostly Siri AI and Apple Intelligence, neither of which are compelling reasons for me to jump on 27 upon release.

Looks particularly jarring compared to the normal looking pulldown menus for all the other menu bar icons.Control Centre is still glassy AF even with slider maxed out.
I focus on the apps I'm using and macOS 26 has worked as well for me as all the previous versions ...Toned down corner radius/radii and LG slider aren’t compelling?!?!
Some people…
😉
I appreciate the Liquid Glass improvements that Apple is making in macOS 27. But those shiny borders around all the buttons are still goddamn ugly.
In what respect? I'm still sporting the last pre-sale Version of Bartender as the alternatives suck (for me).I find it interesting that no article so far mentioned that Bartender has been Sherlocked.
Same, except I'm on an M2.Installed it on my 16” M1 Pro on Tuesday and it’s been great. Still on the Siri waitlist (I’m in the EU).
I don't like that idea, I use Bit warden to generate good passwordsIt's very early so few noticed that AI tidbit about changing weak passwords for you. That means AI will have to impersonate you log into websites and change your passwords. Yeah no thanks
