macOS Big Sur Adds Battery Usage History and Brings Back Remaining Battery Estimates

This sounds like a step in the right direction but I’ll probably continue to use coconutBattery. The killer feature it has is the ability to display how many watts you’re drawing at a given moment. On my MacBook Air, if I see that figure go much over ~10-12w, I know something’s driving up my energy consumption — and the time remaining shows a corresponding drop.

Honestly, I think they would have been better going flatter like iOS currently is than this half-measure.
Yeah, this was the 1st real example of an awful design from Apple. Thus far, all of Apple's design choices were ok to me, but, this is inexcusable. Windows-esque.

Am I the only one who thinks the icon is ok? I don’t love it. But it’s fine. Cant find anything particularly wrong with it. May be it’s a cultural thing I don’t get.
