I already wanted to ask before... Has anyone tried to disable that "fill screen" option? It doesn't work for me. It was off in Beta 2 and before in Sequoia. The switch works (without any effect) until you come back to settings, then it's back on again.

I don't know what that folder is. But it's empty. I can't delete it too, although SIP is disabled. And in Terminal it says the file system is read-only.

Yeah I deleted whats inside but cant delete that folder.
Tried disabling sip, trying to deleting it from recovery mode via terminal, still no go. Asked claude to help but we couldnt get it done 😀

This is strange how beta 3 release 2 update seems to be whole 17 GB of download and 64 GB of room on empty VM is running out when preparing the update. Not that actual disk space would be running out but it seems like every new release will need a bigger VM disk to test out just bare system itself...

EDIT: it was betterdisplay 5 pre-release, regular release v4.3.5 is fine

also (sigh) stem splitter in logic still crashes (that started on dev beta 3 release 1)...

Yep, I learned this just now when trying to split a song. This crash did occur in some previous versions, and trashing plist and caches could help, but not this time. I've also seen folks say to reinstall Logic. I don't really want to go through that, and I don't think it'll help this time, but I might have to give it a go.

here, a reinstall changed nothing...

EDIT: fwiw, projects are opening much faster after reinstalling logic.. 🤔...

I've been using Battery Limited Charging since Tahoe, but now it doesn't seem to work (it always charges to 100%). Am I an isolated case?

I'm glad to see this isn't an isolated issue. I've tried every way of reinstalling Logic Pro with no fix for the stem splitter. Hopefully Beta 4 on Monday fixes it.

Keeps freezing and not updating, doesn’t function really, also uses up a ton of CPU power trying to do whatever.

Latest update has fixed my issues with random internet connection drops. Was bouncing back-and-forth between LAN and wireless and turning off the iCloud+ features/IP tracking/etc. On last Beta, those would become a problem and sometimes my VPN wouldn't connect (or much of anything). No issues as of writing on the latest one.

IINA works fine. Playback is as expected on B3v2.

That's odd. I have multiple Apple & 3rd party apps up in the menubar, and all function & update as expected.

However, I don't "hide" the menubar, so maybe that could be glitchy?

Finder restart takes a long time.

Also Finder refreshes aren’t instant so if you edit an image then the thumbnail of the image in the Finder sometimes doesn’t update. The file will keep using a cached thumbnail. If you move the file to another directory you will see the thumbnail update.

In beta 1 and 2 if you changed system appearance some apps didn’t fully change between light and dark mode. That is fixed now in beta 3.

Wacom drivers don’t support Golden Gate yet.

Huion drivers support Golden Gate but sometimes you get jerky cursor.

Photoshop sometimes shows save error warnings but the files save anyway.

VLC sometimes crashes on opening MIDI files.

On Public Beta, seeing huge difference between Tahoe 26.6 Beta 5 and Golden Gate, it's like night and day.

On M1 Max maxed GPU/CPU cores, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD.

Of course, I don't know what the poster meant, but for me ... MacOS 27 and iOS 27 run better on my M4 MBP and iPhone 17 than the 26 versions.

Not me.

That sounds like a router which is doing "channel optimisation" and switching the 5G channel while your device sleeps.

Or you haven't disabled "Private Wi-Fi address" for your home network, so when you come out of sleep, it's generating another random MAC address and confusing your router.
