It's real, I tried it. I think they accidentally ported this part over.
Or it’s intentional with the touch screen MacBook Pro/Ultra in mind. I feel they shouldn’t be that flexible though. It’ll most likely get more refined throughout the coming betas.

What makes it even funnier, is that you can't do this on iPadOS 27. 🤪 Which is ALL touchscreen.

I hate the new traffic buttons. Someone please find a plist edit so we can have the old ones back. The new pastel colors are really ugly to me. I can't get over how washed out they look in light mode. Actually looks good in dark mode but I don't use dark mode.

Edit: They also got rid of the warping bubble effect when dragging sliders around. Now it's just a static bubble.

"degustibus non disputandum est" that means everyone's taste is not a reason of dispute. I loved the Aqua interface, I was disappointed when the macOS bewcame flat and non-skeumorphic. I am happy now. This is macOS, not Windows 11. But this is my opinion. Everyone is free to agree or disagree.

I think this just needs some refinement. The concept seems sound and, as others have said, it’s a nice reminder of Aqua. Will probably just need a little work to get right.
yes agreed, I actually like them, although they do need some tweaking still. I think they’re just not as crisp as they used to be but otherwise they actually match the rest of the toolbar buttons much better now. If they tweak the saturation and frost should solve it. Kinda like how v1 glass app icons looked like trash but now the v2 ones genuinely look nice.

Those effing things are microscopically teeny tiny. An abhorrent abuse of correct UI/UX. Apple has clearly lost their way completely. Eff these things, no matter what color or glass they are.
In fairness I don't believe the size changed at all. In fact I don't believe the size of the traffic buttons has changed at all since Yosemite, if not Lion. They actually looked smaller in Lion because of the 3d-effect which I believe may be why they look smaller here too, but they do not seem to be.

Actually, it doesn't mean "you shouldn't argue about matters of taste." It means that lawyers cannot argue a case (e.g. make a legal argument) to predict whether someone else might like something, or not.

If you think something is good or bad, and can give reasons for your opinion, then you should do so.

Apologies for tangent.
