Should the macOS Sierra Theme Also Be Developed For Tiger?

I have personally a non blurred version of it, and it uses 10% CPU all the time (on an intel), And hides when showing the desktop
It's totally worth it IMO. A blurred dock would really complete the theme and after that I can't think of much else to do. We could somehow let the user disable/enable it. Perhaps with an AppleScript. This should at least be considered.

Soon... :)

All the code does is getting the desktop background and then blurring it, it doesn't blur dynamically
[doublepost=1479597713][/doublepost]I'm not doing that,
Time consuming and will be VERY laggy :/

Getting there...

[doublepost=1479657503][/doublepost]I have a semi-blurred dock now, but it looks terrible, you can't resize the dock, and the dock must be hidden upon login. Also, different screen sizes would need different versions. It's not worth it. Anyway, I'll attach this screenshot.

I could've made the blur line up with the dock better, but there was no point. It would still look terrible.

Those haven't been released and probably won't be until everything is finished and the entire Sierra theme will be released.

does anyone know where to find @SourceSunTom's resources? Extras, Extras2, ArtFile, SArtFile? is there a download somewhere? thanks
I wish! As far as I can tell there is no download. I think we'll have to wait for the theme. The good news is, just about everything else in this theme is downloadable. The dock, the icons, the About This Mac screen, font, etc.

EDIT: Sorry, I didn't see the above post.

I'm super excited for this theme! :) Can't wait for it to come out! Thanks to everyone working on it.

And a question: will this support Lion? Lion support would be amazing, as I just switched to Lion as my main OS. I'd be happy to test out anything you need. And, if you like, I'll destroy the files when I'm done. ;) If it won't work on Lion, I may have to switch back to my G5. This theme looks and sounds too amazing to miss out on. :)

Hi guys,

I would like to renew this here but I can find no description how and where?

Is there a guide?

OK, so I modified the About This Mac screen to be a little bit more realistic. There are a few small changes, the most notable being that I removed the word "Leopard" entirely. This theme is meant to cover that up. :) There a a few other small changes also. I figured I'd upload it because why not? Install it the same way you did the last one.
If @SourceSunTom or anybody else working on the theme wants me to take this down, just ask. EDIT: Here's a screenshot.View attachment 671120

Hi,

How do I insert the file into my system? How do I install "about my mac"?

The theme isn't done yet, everything linked in this thread is currently experimental. Once the final theme is realeased I will update the first post to reflect that
