Interesting, I know there’s been that keychain extension for Chrome for Windows for a while now, but it’d be cool to have this option on other MacOS browsers.

Eh, I got use to a 3rd party password manager. I just use whatever the husband suggests since he works with this stuff for a living. He tells me he found something cool to use for the phones and computer, and I just give him my phone and computer and tell him to fix it 😂

Is the main reason folks don’t like Safari it’s lack of Extensions/Customization?

I’ve used Safari for many years and think it works really well, it’s fast, sleek and works well within the ecosystem.

I’m not a big Extension user (I use two at the moment, ad-block, tracking prevention)
It's tab management for me. I want to use Safari, I've tried to several times, but I always end up back on Chrome.

I’m not a big ‘tab’ person but I do find the lack of consistency when closing tabs in Safari annoying. If I want to close a bunch of tabs in Chrome I can just click away but Safari changes the UI every time you close a tab moving the dang button.

Would be nice if this is not limited to iCloud Passwords but would work for any password manager that supports password autofill. Currently password autofill is limited to Safari on the Mac (on iOS it works with other browsers sind all browsers are using Apple's Webkit for now).

Am I missing something? I use Safari and Brave and I can auto fill both using 1Password with no issues.

Very handy. I hope it informs you the first time that Chrome may be copying the passwords itself to whatever Google account is signed in, just so the unawares can be awares.

1password is not something I no longer recommend with their upgrade to subscription model and breaking the lifetime previous version automatic filling no longer working unless you upgrade and subscribe. Screw that ! I used 1password since version 3 but alas. :(

I like! Even though I use certain things for school that require Chrome I find myself actively avoiding Chrome simply because I trust Apple more to store my passwords. Perhaps I've drunk too much of the Apple Kool-Aid but this is a welcome addition for me.
