(If you are encountering any issues, please press "Edit" on the bottom of this post and add it here)

  • Wi-Fi not working on M1 MBA. Broadcom BCM4378 chipset Driver: IO80211_driverkit-1525.88 with firmware from July 11, 2025. Connects to Wi-Fi and Hotspots, gets DHCP lease with correct IP/gateway/DNS, but cannot reach gateway or any network hosts. Rebooting, forgetting network, etc. do not resolve.

Remaining Issues
  • External Hard Drives will show the icon used in Sequoia
  • Alarms may not play when your display is asleep for a long period of time (FB10086690)
    • Workaround: Make your display not fall asleep in Settings > Lock Screen > Turn display off on ____ when inactive. You can turn your brightness off.
    • Issue present since macOS 13.0
Untested Issues
Additional Notes

  • Please know, Memory Management has always been an issue on any OS (not just Apple's). If you believe there is a Memory Leak, please go to the Apple Menu > Restart > Restart to fix it.
  • When a new macOS release comes out, all issues automatically go to "Untested Issues" until they are moved by someone. Issues that stay in Untested for 3 releases (beta or smooth) will be removed from all future threads. When there is a new macOS release, please be sure to let us know about the issue's status by moving it to either "Remaining Issues" or "Resolved Issues"
  • macOS 26 Tahoe will be installed via a Delta Update in System Settings. Please be aware about this and the update won’t install with an installer.

So no build number change from the last RC. Great, one less thing to do now! ;-)

[Edit: This turned out to be incorrect about an hour after the 1pm release. Build is now 25A353 -> 25A354.]

Hi, can someone please send me the Safari version on the stable release? A screenshot would be fine as well, just want to verify the build number

I’m only getting 15.7. No 26 available at the moment. All my other devices are in the process of updating to 26. Any one have any ideas?

Is anyone getting 25A354 as an update to 25A353? Because I checked several times, including enabling and disabling the beta option and I did not get 25A354.

I was running the Public Beta which was 353 on my M1 MacBook Pro 14". I took off the Beta Updates in System Settings and the 354 update showed up for me. Still running the 353 Beta on my M2 Mac mini. I checked the versions of Safari, Maps, Mail and Notes on each computer and they are the same.

I was downloading macOS 26 at around 2 pm US CDT, and I have never experienced such choppy download speeds (from 62 megs to 0 back to 62 etc.) This was both on my M1 iMac and my M2 MacBook Air. However, things are working OK now on both my newly-upgraded Macs. It seems to be a really nice OS--so far. I was relieved when I was still able to print with my Epson printer (it uses AirPrint).

Errrr.... Why on Earth isn't there an option to select the default folder color from the list in combination with a different theme color?
