Has anyone tried the new release of Bartender 6 with the release version of macOS 26? When I turn on Bartender 6, it updates continuously and I can't access my Tool Bar at the bottom of the screen. When I turn Bartender off, the bottom bar works fine.

Got an annoying prompt to enable ChatGPT when I prompted Siri with a question. Choosing to use it anonomously resulted in the window not acknowledging that choice and staying in the foreground unable to close it, even with a finder relaunch. I had to restort to logging off.

Installed Tahoe on M3 MBA, no issues. However. When I plugged in Apple DVD Superdrive, DVD plays fine…kinda/sorta. Audio is matched up with video, it’s just when you see movement such as hand gestures or walking, it’s a little bit slower than normal speed. Audio remains synced, no slowdown. Scan rate is set to “4X Speed,” and “Slow Motion Rate” is set to “1/2 Speed.” Had no playback issues with Sequoia other than the usual Spinning Beach Ball Of Death.” Is there any adjustment here?

EDIT: maybe this? After a major macOS update, the system re-indexes all your files. This background process is CPU-intensive and can cause general slowdowns that might affect SuperDrive performance until it's finished.

Anyone having issues with Apple Music Soundcheck not working? After finally getting my music all "levelled" (used ivolume - still works), turning soundcheck on now has no effect.

Is anyone having issues with bricking and being unable to select wallpapers? I cannot set a custom wallpaper, and whenever I am selecting apple wallpapers in settings, the mac bricks for a few seconds.

Macbook pro M1 Pro 16"

Later edit: it also bricks a few seconds after selecting the wallpaper menu in settings

Yes, same exact thing and I'm also on a MacBook Pro M1 Max 16 inch.

Mail.app is not applying filters automatically, now has to manually run them.

Just for "fun"...

Pixelmator, the graphics app acquired by Apple, still doesn’t have the Tahoe logo...

With Tahoe, I lost all of my Safari bookmarks. Did migration assistant went back to the day before and they are still gone. I had some really important things in there. There was nothing in iCloud either.
Any chance anyone knows how I can get them back?
Thanks

Anyone with iMac M3 with 4 ports running Tahoe? Anything to look out for before I install this?

Hi, this keyboard icon was not present in the RC I think ?
I don't see where to toggle it's appearance...

For some reason I have this icon constantly popping up on my Menu bar even if I drag it out while holding down command, it comes back a few days or reboots later. I'm not sure what I'm doing to trigger it.

try system settings>keyboard>text input>input sources>edit: in that window, there's a 'show input menu in menu bar'. uncheck it (or if needed, try checking then unchecking it). perhaps reboot.

this happened for me in 2 beta updates, but not since. seems a little finicky....

I recently updated my M3 Pro MBP to the most recent version of OS 26

I am unable to get Messages to work on my laptop. It will ask me to log into my Apple account and when I do the iMessage app comes up and under settings after selecting Messages to select the input the app shuts down.

I am wondering if anyone is having the same experience here?

After upgrading to 26.0 on my M2 Studio
- IP Scanner crashes immediately after opening
- Macros in LibreOffice Base won't run, database crashes if macros enabled, database runs if macros disabled.

Installed Tahoe yesterday, and haven't been able to play videos since. YouTube, local, VLC, Quicktime, doesn't matter - the video loads, I can scrub through it manually, but it won't play.

Anyone else seeing this, and/or have a solution?

M2 Max Studio, Studio Display, 1TB, 32GB btw...

edit: fixed. I noticed I didn't have sound from the Music app either. I use a MOTU M4 audio interface, and for some reason after installing Tahoe now I have 2 M4 profiles in my sound output options. I switched to the one not selected and voila!... full-motion video and audio!

Don't know why that happened, but whatever...

Add to the list Dock disappears without any reason even with "Automatically hide and show the Dock" disabled. It is happening to me after upgrading to macOS 26 Tahoe yesterday. It has happened at least 4 to 5 times already.

Mac Studio M1 Max 32Gb/2TB and pair of Studio Displays.
