Thanks, but I don't have either. If you have another current computer or partitioned one with Sequoia on it, boot to it and immediately go up to the Wireless icon and turn WiFi off so things won't sync. In Finder/Go menu hold down Option, click Go and select Library. Open Safari folder and drag Bookmarks.plist to the Desktop and copy that file to your Tahoe computer in the same place in the Finder.
You could do the same thing with Time Machine if you have it.Thanks, but I don't have either.
I am not having that same experience, but when I try to send a new Message, it takes several seconds for the recipient info to populate and I get the spinning color wheel.I recently updated my M3 Pro MBP to the most recent version of OS 26

I am unable to get Messages to work on my laptop. It will ask me to log into my Apple account and when I do the iMessage app comes up and under settings after selecting Messages to select the input the app shuts down.
I am wondering if anyone is having the same experience here?
That's it, thank you !try system settings>keyboard>text input>input sources>edit: in that window, there's a 'show input menu in menu bar'. uncheck it (or if needed, try checking then unchecking it). perhaps reboot.
this happened for me in 2 beta updates, but not since. seems a little finicky....
I have problems with the scrolling response of the trackpad being very sluggish. My fingers can move all the way off of the trackpad before the screen even starts moving.M2 MBA
Very weird scrolling issues in Safari with the trackpad(it'll just stop scrolling). I noticed it had been mentioned in some of the early beta threads too.
Not noticed it in anything else yet.
don't think anything has specifically changed in the app, but check your app stores, see if there are any updates.Do you have pages updated? Because mine has an old design
The iWork apps are yet to be updated for Tahoe, or Apple-owned Pixelmator Pro and Photomator.Do you have pages updated? Because mine has an old design
Sounds similar to mine then. Driver issue?I have problems with the scrolling response of the trackpad being very sluggish. My fingers can move all the way off of the trackpad before the screen even starts moving.
Strangely, this happens on my M4 MacBook Pro, whether using the built-in trackpad, or the Apple Magic Trackpad in both wired and wireless modes.
But it's fine on my M1 MacBook Pro. No sluggishness there at all.
Strange.
View->Show Status Bar. Then scroll the playlist a bit. the status bar appears at the top of the window with song count, play time, and size.Updated to Tahoe yesterday and now the Music app no longer shows the size of playlists. I use this for burning backups. Tried Show Status a billion times and it does nothing.
Just song count and time show. I said in my initial comment that I tried numerous times Show Status. It does nothing. Tried scrolling. Nothing. Tried changing to numerous other playlists. Tried Show/Hide Status while scrolling. Scrolled to the bottom tried Show/Hide Status. Nothing. Also before you ask I did it both through the drop down menu and keystrokes.View->Show Status Bar.
