Apple has already stated that Rosetta support for games (and that will likely include Wine) will not be removed. They will keep a subset for that. Otherwise, they would kill off their own Game Porting Toolkit.
Sadly, i don't want Rosetta for games but for a program called BreadStorm. It's abandonware but something I use everyday.

Seriously? The functionality of this app can be built in Excel / Numbers in no time. And if you really need an App, either check out alternatives or build your own. In the age of AI anyone can do it.

Sometimes people want the nice looking app rather than opening up a Numbers spreadsheet.

Does anyone ever open a “numbers” spreadsheet ?

Does Apple still even make that?
Numbers was actually just updated to include new AI stuff for some creator subscription thing Apple is doing.

I used to use Numbers to track my aunt's bills and stuff while she was in the nursing home. I also use a quick formula saved in Numbers to balance my EveryDollar budget at the end of the month (sometimes I get off a few dollars and I like to balance it out at the end of every month or two).

Other than that, I really don't use it on day to day business. For personal life, I don't have a need. For work, we have Excel at work and I normally use that if I have to share the spreadsheet with others.

Very miopic of me to not aknowledge that people obviously do use it

How does one download this as an installer? I can't get it to show using 'softwareupdate --list-full-installer' in terminal. The most recent beta I get is the previous beta (25E5233c).

that is because they don’t tend to release full installers for the rc’s

you can try the ota method or download the ipsw

I found a bug.

It’s my practice to leave a USB drive plugged in but unmounted.

Connecting via Remote Desktop causes the drive to mount itself.

Also, MDS is preventing the drive from being unmounted without a force-eject.

Both of these behaviors are new with the RC.

EDIT: The actual release seems to have fixed both of these... But now TM to a NAS just fails with an authentication error immediately.
