I'm not sure I fully understand your issue. In my case, however, I have a full Adobe subscription, and the Creative Cloud programs work perfectly on my late 2013 27-inch iMac - i7 CPU with 32 GB RAM and nVidia GTX780M 4 GB VRAM.
I should point out, however, that after six months of Sequoia, I downgraded to Sonoma, and after another six months, when Apple blocked Compressor starting with Sonoma 14.8.3, I went back to macOS Sequoia, which I’ve kept strictly on version 14.3.1.
As for OCLP, in the end, I preferred the July 2025 3.0.0 Beta, which seems to me to be the most stable.
Everything works fine and Photoshop beta flies…
But I must point out that through a long process of working with AI Overview, I’ve turned my Mac into a Formula 1 car (as defined by the AI itself).
AI suggested me, in fact, I change the thermal paste on the CPU, GPU, and VRAM (here with pads), recommended I purchase Turbo Boost Switcher Pro, and helped me optimize BetterDisplay Pro to switch the monitor to HiDPI and achieve a match with the Test di Lagom which, when compared to the Apple Studio Display, gives me the same quality.
Now I have a Mac that is ABSOLUTELY silent, stable, and high-performing, even though, obviously, it doesn’t work with the latest versions of Pages, Keynote, and Numbers or with the Apple Creative Suite. But who cares… And when I optimize my friends’ new MacBooks with Tahoe (yesterday I even optimized a MacBook Pro M5), I feel no envy at all, given the pleasure my own great and large 27-inch display brings me.

What version of Photoshop do you have? If you have 27.6.0, how did you manage to upgrade to it?

I’m out at the moment and can’t see the exact version number. But to answer your question, all you need to know is this: it’s actually the latest beta version of Photoshop, and I download and install it via the Adobe Creative Cloud app as I’m subscribed to the full suite.
However, even the photography-only subscription entitles you to download the beta.
The first time, Photoshop warned me that it needed a newer version of macOS and I was a bit worried; but then it worked and works perfectly, perhaps because my graphics card is very powerful and high-performance, as my iMac was top-of-the-range.
Bear in mind, too, that I’ve removed the Fusion Drive and so I have a high-performance 2TB Samsung SSD, whilst I’m keeping Catalina on the 128GB Apple SSD (which was part of the Fusion Drive) as a precaution.

Your answers don't make much sense—nor your speculation about “perhaps because my graphics card is very powerful and high-performance” and “...have a high-performance 2TB blah blah blah”. And “...all you need to know is this:”
What matters here is what exact version of Photoshop is installed on your wonderful super-duper iMac, in what version of macOS.

There’s only one version, and I thought I’d already replied to you. Do you really have to be so rude to me?…
The details about my Mac aren’t meant to show off, but given the nature of the forum — which is read by many users with different needs — it’s important to share as much information as possible.
In any case, even though I’ve only just got home and I’m tired, I went to my Mac and can tell you that the version of Photoshop Beta I’m using is 27.8.6, as you can see in the attached screenshot.
I hope I’ve answered your question and I hope you’ll be kinder to me.

Just to add confirmation to @OKonnel ‘s post. I have the same spec iMac, 14,2, slightly less ram at 24gb running Sonoma 14.8.7 and successfully run Adobe Photoshop 27.6 which updates via the Creative Cloud app. I get a nag when I launch PS telling me that the best experience would be with Mac OS 15, but it still runs, albeit a bit sluggish, after quitting the nag. Hope that helps.

Nothing new compared to 26.4.
Yeah sadly, Mostly because the features that apple add are mostly Apple Silicon only Like last year with Sequoia, other than iPhone mirroring and apple intelligence, Sequoia got some features for Intel Macs, but Tahoe isn't as good at it ( I mean, Apple is dropping intel in a month so they could care less about Intel Macs)

@esandio Your Mac does not have a T2 chip, so Tahoe installation will be possible for you. You could choose to wait for official OCLP support while you continue to run Sequoia or try one of the unofficial OCLP forks as bombardier10 suggested. Not that my opinion matters much, but if you don't need the latest Xcode, I'd stick with Sequoia for now.
OCLP Mod Won't Help him. if I recall Correctly a YouTuber Tried to run Tahoe With a Nightly Version of OCLP 3.0 ( official one), and That Mac Even without the T2 Chip has Boot Issues. so OCLP mod won't help out here.

They did skip these version numbers as you noted. I believe that Apple was thinking about releasing security updates to go along with macOS 26.4.1, which would have had these version numbers, but they never did.
Can someone help me install Tahoe on MacBook 13,2? The last time I managed to install and log in to my account was back in December 2025, but the maximum mine was just logging in to the user and that's it, no WiFi nor GPU did not work, did something change for May 2026?
Currently OCLP Still hasn't released a Version Compatible with macOS Tahoe. I Personally Guess maybe Summer 2026 But That is a guess. OCLP Developers Haven't Given us an ETA. For now, Stay on macOS Sequoia or Sonoma.

This is kind of amazing (to me)... I am posting this in Firefox 151.0 on my HackBookPro6,2 (Intel Arrandale, NVidia Tesla non-metal) running macOS Tahoe 26.5. Booting with Open Core 1.0.7. No OCLP root patches, no Wi-Fi, no audio. Surprisingly responsive! I wouldn't use this for anything other than creating this post 😂
EDIT: I am editing this post in Safari 26.5.
Note that my Open Core EFI has dhinakg's RestrictEvents.kext 1.1.7 (javascript core branch) with revpatch=jsc.

This shows that old hardware, even if it's old but it still is very much useable! I used to own a Pavilion DV4 from '08 ( yup with windows Vista) and that thing still works to this very day! Old hardware and specifically, old laptops were built to last!

And now nearly a year has passed, and neither the Dortania team nor laobamac has released anything providing full graphics support for NVIDIA (Kepler) cards.
You even claimed that it was already being tested internally and that it worked in principle. Well, where is it? I don't see any sign of it. And the truth is, there will probably *never* be NVIDIA graphics support for Tahoe!!!
But I don't really care anyway; my old Late 2013 iMac runs Sequoia 15.7.7 flawlessly. Plus, I have a 2019 MacBook Pro (16-inch), which is still natively supported.

@deeveedee never claimed that nVidia graphics are coming soon, the developers said it themselves, ( scroll back to old pages like 38~41 you'll see educovas which was one of the devs for root patches say it himself). Again, the developers doing this project are doing it for free.. it's not a company doing this. It's ~5 people Doing it because they love it. So cut them some slack, we in this forum all know they can definitely pull it off sooner than later.
What is it everyone needs Tahoe to do ? that sequoia can’t ?
