Excellent work!

I really like the new design and finally full RSS Feeds.

I really like the new Buyer's Guide

Great job!

sad

hi, i know this redesign probably represents a lot of hard work. but i just wanted to say i for one dislike it. i'm extremely sad to see the old setup go away. "improvement" only makes for straight roads :(

I concur ("conquer" if you are Carl from the Simpsons of course) with most everyone else so far.

But...yea, my 27" has alot of white space now, even with FF only taking up 60% of my screen normally. I miss the wider MR...even using a % value instead of pixel width would be nice.

Apples site is not exactly a forum where people write lots of text which will now run a little longer down than across.

Its nice, but even on my 20" screen i have big white borders each side, it feels like its been designed for non widescreen displays?

Hm no more positive/negative ratings on articles now?

Wouldn't that be nice if it's the case? This is one of the most contentious, least useful features of the site. People are always creating meta-commentary about the ratings while constantly forgetting why people vote positive and negative in the first place. And since different people apply different standards, it becomes a meaningless vote.

very nice!

Much faster to load and I like how fluid the design feels. As a previous poster mentioned the best of the original design while still pushing forward.

Well done!

Really like the new version of the Buyers' guide too, nice that all of the related news/rumors for a particular product are available too. The red, green and yellow colors for when to buy is great.

Not bad. Will take a little getting used to. However, it would be nice if the top article was expanded and all articles below were just the red headline bar. Then when you clicked on a red bar, the open article would collapse and the new article would expand. This would keep the page much much shorter. It's a shame that all the links and other info at the bottom are so far down.

It's waaay better than it used to be.

However, I'd rethink the black "active" tabs.

It's too contrasty and stark.

I'd find a color that blends better with the overall palette.

It's not black, it's navy blue (at least on my mac it looks navy blue), just like the MacRumors logo.

Looks Great and little contrained, wouldn't mind 20-25% increase. Gotta fill my 27in Cinema Display!!

Folks, as we noted in the article you presumably read before posting in this thread, you can toggle between fixed and fluid page widths at the bottom of the front page. ;)

I'm confused. Where's page 2 gone?
Still there, just separated into Mac Blog and iOS Blog.
