i've got a pathetic 13/20...but all you UNC champion pickers just wait until Arkansas upsets them on Sun. I'll be sitting back watching all your brackets go up in flames

This was so sick! I go to western and I was fixing to have a heart attack. Ty Rogers hit the game winner! I went to high school with him in Eddyville and played on the high school team with him. What a dream for a kid from a town of less than 1000.

I was pulling hard for Drake, but have to agree that charging call at the end of regulation was baaaaaaad. However, the loose ball foul in OT looked like the right call to me -- the guy got hit in the chest and knocked to the floor.
Helluva play to end the game, though. Thought the ballhandler was going to just take it straight to the hole a la Tyus Edney. Pretty gutsy to take a long-range shot when you only need a 2 to win it.
My brackets aren't looking so hot. The second tier Pac-10 teams (Arizona and especially USC) really let me down. My picks where my heart overrulled my head (Drake and St. Mary's) came back to haunt me.
At least I got Davidson / Gonzaga right. Davidson looks very dangerous; I still think of them as being the perennial sacrificial 16 seed, but they're a tough out now.
I don't think the loose ball call was right. In that close of a game, you can't make a pansy call like that when 8 guys are all scrapping for it. Pretty ridiculous like the rest of the officiating. WKU didn't shoot a freethrow until the 2nd half, while Drake shot at least 15 n the 1st half.
On the gutsy shot, Darrin Horn knew that Ty is a pure shooter. He has the record for most 3s in Kentucky. He can flat shoot the lights out. Well called decision that led to a W.
I *live* in Davidson. People are going insane around here! I picked them all the way to the elite 8 (stupid, I know, but it would be fun!).

He does an OK job recruiting (One of my friends played for him a few years ago and another of my friend's brothers played for him - they were both good recruits, especially my friend). It's bad luck when one of your best players goes down. Not only does it hurt your team on the court, but emotionally it can affect the players.
I'm an Arkansas fan and they have been equally inconsistent this year. Sometimes teams, no matter talent level or coaching, just cannot get it together for the majority of the season.
I've only lost one sweet 16 team so far (UConn), but I'm in trouble if Vandy can't get going here, I picked them as my surprise team in the Elite Eight.
