Serpents - $0.99 Tilt-controlled "Tron meets Snake" game.
This was our biggest disappointment. We worked really hard on this one and thought we had something unique, but even the drop to $0.99 did not spur sales. Time to learn OpenGL ES.

Serpents Lite - FREE Lite version of Serpents.
Further disappointment. We can't even give the game away:(. Back to the drawing board.

I know this game under the name of 'Achtung die Curve' (I think it's german for 'Watch out for the Corner!' or something like that..) I've played a PC version for litterly hours and hours on end on several hollidays with friends... It's a simple but very fun concept. I think what your version is missing is multiplayer. I'm not sure whether it will boost your sales when you include wifi-multiplayer, but you'd certainly get a few extra sales from me and my friends :)

I've got two applications on the store at the moment, [app]iRead[/app] and [app]Task Focus[/app].

Two more are currently under review and hopefully should be out soon. You can see more on my website if you like.

Great work from everyone here. :)

Imangi - $3.99

Hello everyone,

I'm the developer of the word puzzle Imangi. The ultimate goal of Imangi is to create the highest scoring arrangement of words possible on a 6x8 grid of letters. Using the iPhone's revolutionary Multi-Touch user interface, players can slide rows and columns of letters to form words. Words are formed across and down in crossword fashion and must appear in a standard dictionary. Many combinations of words are possible for each game.

We just released version 2.0 which also includes:

1) Speed Imangi
2) Daily Challenge
3) Friend Challenge
4) Online High Scores
5) Word lists for German, French, Italian, and Russian

Enjoy the game! As always, we appreciate any feedback!

-Keith

Voyeur

My first app, Voyeur, was finally released! You can find it here: [app]Voyeur[/app] for $0.99.

What does it do?

It's really a very simple app - start it up and it will play a nice slideshow of the most recent public images posted to Flickr. I like to run it at work while listening to music. If you see an image you find interesting, just touch the screen and you will get a menu where you can pause the show (and then run frantically down the hall to show someone the picture you found), save the picture to your library, visit the image's page on Flickr in Safari or E-Mail a link to the picture to someone in your contact list. I've taken great care to make it as solid as possible - I regularly run it for 8+ hours at a time. I know that's not something all that groundbreaking, but for my first Objective-C/Mac/iPhone app it was harder than you might think :)

I have some ideas for additional functionality that I would like to add in the future, but I really like how simple it is and hate to do anything to "clutter" it up. Anyway, enjoy!

iNap: wake up on destination!

My app: iNap - wake up on destination!

Ever wanted to get some sleep during a train ride, or a quick powernap on the bus to work? You either hoped to wake just in time not to miss your station, or set an alarm to wake you far too early... Let iNap wake you when you get close to your stop!

iNap is a 'next-generation' travel alarm. Using the GPS in your iPhone it will determine where you are, and wake you when you are close to your destination!

Thanks go out to the helpfull people on this forum. I've asked a lot of questions, and gotten even more answers!

I don't post that much but I do consider myself a Macrumors user... ;) My first app "MasterBrain" is on the App store today, finally :)
It's a small puzzle game, based on the pen & paper game Bulls and cows and the boardgame Mastermind. Nothing too fancy but very cool to see my work on iTunes :)

MasterBrain - $0.99

iBinaryClock

Me and my friend have started a small software company and this is the first app we came up with for the iPhone. It's just one of a small collection of $0.99 apps we are creating to build up some revenue to get our company going and fund artwork and sound for our upcoming planned games etc. We can both program well but unfortunately our drawing and composing skills don't leave much to be desired!

iBinaryClock is a customizable binary clock app with the main emphasis on looking cool and being easy to use. Its currently in version 1.0 but version 2.0 is coming soon and it is a LOT better.

For all the haters of app names prefixed with "i" out there (im hypocrytically one myself), we apoligize for this one. "Binary Clock" was already taken and its pretty hard to call a binary clock anything but a binary clock so we had to settle for "iBinaryClock" to even get it on the app store!

Workout Buddy exercise tracker for iPhone

I have just released "Workout Buddy" for the iPhone. It is a workout and exercise tracker that allows you to define your workouts, add exercises, sets, and reps, and count out those exercises. Workout Buddy also keeps track of when you performed each exercise and workout, and when it's time to do it again. :)

FIS Calc (Productivity)

FIS Calculator is a very simple calculator used to add, subtract, multiply and divide dimensions, in feet, inches and sixteenths of an inch with minimal key strokes and targets anyone that uses a tape measure in designing or constructing all kinds of things.
Based on user feedback I am implementing the input of other fractions besides sixteenths in an upcoming version. Very handy if you use dimensions a lot.

Rogue Vertex, $1.99, 2D Space Shooter.

Hey Rogue Vertex looks like a great game. More people just need to know about it. You should maybe release a demo video on youtube or something. And later maybe a lite or free version. Lite and free versions attract many since people search up "lite" or "free" on itunes.

Accountr

This is a personal finance application to track expenses on the go. I'm working on the next release that will include export to .QIF format (MS Money, Quicken, etc) and multiple account support.

Currently you can export to Google Spreadsheets, which I'm pretty proud of.

THETA Poker (Texas Hold 'Em)

THETA Poker has just hit the App Store. Please check out the strongest, easiest-to-use Texas Hold 'Em game for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Thank you to everyone who has posted development advice in this forum!

Change - A small application for calculating the value of small change (and notes), so you don't have to do it manually. Great for finding out how much the mountain of small change on your desk is worth!

Formulas

My app is called Formulas - it does some calculations that are very common in high school math. It includes a triangle solver(enter 3 parts of a triangle and it will give you the other 3 parts), a regular polygon solver(give an shape property and a size property and it tells you area, perimeter, side length, etc.), a Greatest Common Factor calculator, and other solvers.

my current apps (geneBlender, iLCARS, iFocus)

I'll just put them all to single post to save space :)

geneBlender
Free form photo blending/compositing. It uses similar UI than in Minority Report to freely move, rotate, scale images. One finger for move/position and two fingers to rotate/scale simultaneously. You can overlay two or more images top of each other and then blend them together with your fingers by painting directly to alpha-channel of topmost image (like Photoshop layers and masks). This will reveal or hide areas you mask with your finger. You can also add some funny items from geneBlenders library to "decorate" the image and finally save it to "saved photos album".

iLCARS
Doesn't need much of an explanation. Those who know what LCARS is get the idea :) It's pure novelty-gadget-gizmo with appropriate sounds and animations. Worth of few laughs with your friends. 3 scanning modes Subatomic Particles (may even found Higgs boson or microscopic blackhole), BIO-scan to check if there is any "brain activity" in subject ;) and GEO-scan for seismic activity. Uses accelerometer.

iFocus
a VERY simple focus testing-game. Just click the numbers in ascending order before time runs out. What ever you do don't give this to your girlfriend or wife. For some reason it is HIGHLY addictive for females :D
Don't know why - maybe it's the simplicity? ;)

JEsho

I just have one app up at the moment: JEsho

It's an offline Japanese English dictionary which uses the JMDict public dictionary file. It features searching by kana, romaji, and English. I think what makes mine different is that it tends to show more information on a single screenful because of the variable row heights.

It came out of about 2 weeks worth of learning the iPhone SDK.

I've since added features requested in the reviews, but sadly nobody's reviewed it since then. So if you happen to buy it, please write a review telling me what you think. :)
