Hello all,

I'm happy to say that my first application, DistanceCalc, has been approved and is for sale!

It's a very straightforward application that displays approximately how far you have left to go given your fuel economy, gas tank size, and fuel gauge reading.

I would have PM'd to get on the list, but this is only my first post, and you must have 5 to earn that right.

I'm the developer of CarbFinder, which is an application targeted to Type 1 Diabetics to make it easy for them to look up the carbohydrate content of many different foods. I was inspired by my 10-yr old daughter, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes last year. I think it is great that Apple has provided an open (semi) platform that allows us to help improve peoples lives.

Hiragana & Katakana for students of Japanese

I have recently released versions 1.1 of my two applications and thought it's about time I added them to this list.

Hiragana and Katakana

These apps were made to help me study the two Japanese character alphabets Hiragana and Katakana. I think they turned out being very intuitive to use and they have helped me refresh my memory of the characters in preparation for a trip to Japan next spring.

DoneIt

My second app was just released last week, DoneIt. It is a simple task manager that keeps track of what you need to do without getting in the way and wasting your time.

What a great idea for a thread. If this isn't a sticky it should be!

KillerSDK

Thanks to help from you guys, my application has been up on the store
for two days after a long postpone due to my study.

Anyway my application is called KillerSDK.
Basically is a Killer Sudoku program. Anyone who loves this kind of
puzzle or maths should really enjoy this app :)

Dexy: Free-form notes app

If anyone here remembers the old Mac desk accessory (yeah, that old) QuickDex, my new app will feel a bit familiar. Promo blurb follows.

***

Dexy: The notes app for people who hate to file.

Designed for the iPhone and iPod Touch, Dexy is a free-form note organizer that allows you to type quick notes and easily find them again later.

Forget about naming files, creating folders, and filing notes. Instead, type a quick note and get on with your day. When you need to find a note later, search for any word in the note and Dexy will bring the note to you.

If you liked the old-school card file applications like QuickDEX for Macintosh and Cardfile for Windows, you’ll love Dexy.

Now available in the App Store.
