Should this forum be called Mac Accessories or renamed back to Mac Peripherals? I may be too old school but I think Peripherals has a more accurate meaning for computers then accessories. I'm not overly worked up over it, but I present this suggestion here for discussion.

I understand the motive and reasoning behind the rename and on one level it makes sense since its consistent with the other sections.

I don't have strong opinion on it. I changed it for consistency. Somehow peripherals gave me vibes of printers.

Yeah, funny you're right about printers I get the same thing. Over the years though with NAS, routers, and monitors are now in the peripheral category.

Like I said I'm not terribly worked up over it, and if other members are not worked up about it, then its much ado about nothing :)

I would recommend getting rid of PRSI. It's an eyesore and a waste of system resources.
Count me in on not having a PRSI forum

I feel like we need a place to discuss sensitive stuff, even if it becomes a Political Apple related news thread.
I disagree, I think overall, we an apple site does not need to have a forum that is PRSI in nature - just my $.02 :)

Your post contains a quote, attributed to me, that I never made. This makes it appear as if I have made contradicting statements. See the second quote:

I don't see the second quote being attributed to you when I view that post.
Well, the screenshot that I included shows what I am seeing in Tapatalk - which was why I included it. However, I am seeing something much different when viewing the thread in Safari. Belay my last, it now appears that Tapatalk cannot be trusted to display the correct information. Viewing that post in Tapatalk attributes both quotes to me, which is in error. Viewing the same post in Safari gives proper attribution to the quotes, which is as it should be.

My apologies, I will avoid using Tapatalk.

Yeah, unfortunately it seems that Tapatalk has been on a path of becoming less reliable and useful for a little while.

I do like the changes. It looks nice and clean. I know that the Launch meetups section wasn't used often during the winter, spring and summer moths but at this time of year, I remember using it quite often and it being pretty useful. Is there any way to bring it back to the list annually for Iphone Launches? Thanks

Printers?

Well, then at some point it's time to reassess the goals of the forum. The Apple related discussion brings a lot of us here, but the community makes us stay.
Good connection and argument. +1

I disagree. I dabbled in the PRSI at one point, but now I avoid it like the plague.
You avoid interesting topics "like the plague"?
