20 years later and we’re still waiting for the PowerBook G5!
Wow. One of my favorite sites on the internet! Been scrolling since '05 and posting since '07. Here's to another 20! 
A lot of those comments in the iPod post aren't aging well. Good to see the hate was real and the whiners abundant even way back then.
I wonder how many miles long all the posts would add up to since MR opened their doors. Especially the forums.
Or more scary, what is the carbon footprint of all the traffic and users we all have created. Certainly not sustainable or zero carbon footprint.

Been a member since 2005, but mostly just a lurker. I do visit at least once a day. Thanks for links to some of those old threads. I especially love reading the iPhone announcement thread. So many folks got it wrong, but some really insightful ones predicted success, although no one could have predicted how it would eventually change our daily lives.

I can't get this level of collective Apple knowledge in discussions anywhere in the real world.
There are a few more gripes and arguments than I care for, but hey that's what a family* does.

I was a long time lurker too. I started visiting MR right after I got my PowerMac G4 back in 2000, then I finally made an account back in 2012.
I never followed EvangleList, I feel like I missed out. I had even heard about it through MacAddict videos, back in the late 90's. Hindsight in 2020.
