Pretty awesome... can't say I like it as much these days (I've changed as has the scene). However, I keep coming back so obviously they're doing something right to hold onto an increasingly diverse audience.

Also, it's great to have a forum! Things like Reddit and Facebook have eaten up a lot of the market for online discussions, so I treasure the forums that have stood the test of time.

20 Years ago is only 2000 BTW! I'm surprised it has only been 20 years. Did macosrumors come first or was I going somewhere else before this? Can't remember. My goto bookmarks used to be Versiontracker and Macworld. I think both still exist but unlike MR, I haven't kept up with either.

Your story is nuts! You drool over superior Apple products while financing the competition??? Shame on you! 🤣
The drooling and thinking Apple makes superior products hasn't been true in years. The reason why I still keep coming back and "drooling over MacRumours is because of replies like yours! 😋😁😂

Remember spymac??
Ah good old SpyMac. Didn't they piss off steve at one point and were no longer invited to events and keynotes?

Great site ! Great run ! To another 20 years !!!

Think I bookmarked the site day 1 but finally registered in 2005. Probably have the fewest posts per year registered but haven’t missed a day visiting. Keep up the great work.

Wow...its all been said already, but I will have to say my bit.....

Happy Birthday MR !

20 years is incredible ....yet unsurprising considering the quality of the content and great dependable dedicated service everyone on that side of the screen has provided for us all of these years ....day in, day out, always there for me, to keep me informed on all things Mac. You were there throughout the “Wild,Wild West” days with Apple of having to be your own trouble shooting service technician and repairman....Lots of community support back then too, from my brothers and sisters.

I started with a Power Computing clone and have NEVER owned anything other than Apple....I started with Macrumors and it is still my ONLY, everyday, 1st thing in the morning, GO-TO site, for my Apple life since....well, since very soon after its inception....

and I registered in 2003.....

You have had a hand in helping me with my due diligence with every single Apple device I’ve purchased in all these years, both personally and enterprise-wise, and equally important, is that you have been keeping me the most up to date guy in the room on all things Apple....

Thank You, Thank You THANK YOU !
CONGRATULATIONS....TRULY.

Happy Birthday, MacRumors, and thank you to all who contribute to the site's success! :apple: 🥳

Haha! 2004 for me-- seems like a trend that those who made accounts in the early years prefer reading over posting comments.
Holy crap....! You registered a YEAR TO THE DAY after me...🤙🏻 how weird is that...?

Seems like just yesterday I was reading up about the possibility of Intel x86 chips being used in future PowerMacs. Time does fly! Thanks for keeping the site going!

My profile says Joined Jan 16, 2012 even though I know I was visiting regularly way before that. Time flies... Congratulations!

One of my favorite corners of the internet. I've been reading MR since I was a child, haha. Happy Birthday!

Happy Birthday! I've ben reading Macrumors almost daily since probably around 2002. Thank you for a great site!

I spent more time than I can really imagine on SpyMac and AppleFritter in the early 2000s. When SpyMac imploded and AppleFritter slowed to a crawl, MacRumors became my Apple community of choice. Thanks for staying true, to what you are and not going the SpyMac route!
