It's been a while since the Slashdot ripoff design I see.

I registered here in 2003 (MacNN forums were my original jam), but I've been reading since the beginning. Happy birthday!
 
Many happy returns of a special day! Don't even want to think about how much Apple gear has landed at my house since Apple itself became a thing... never mind how much more since I landed at MR in 2004. Happy 20th to MacRumors, many congratulations to arn, thanks to all the MacRumors staff and special thanks to the moderators too... well almost all the time. 🥰

I'm pretty dang sure I found this site through blakspot all those years ago. Back when MacNN was still relevant. Who can forget spymac though, right? XD

Glad macrumors stuck around though.
 
Happy Birthday MacRumors! Here's to many more...! It seems like just yesterday I was using the Gateway computers in my high school library to try and see what Apple rumors were hot off the presses. 🤓

I do. But maaaybe the pendulum has swung back a bit recently. The last few years were very trolly in the forums, but I'm seeing less of the obvious attempts to just bait Apple fans instead of express a point of view. Perhaps some of those ne'er-do-wells have moved on, or have been moved on. ;)

Congratulations!

It's my go-to website for daily Apple related news. I appreciate the contents and the clean layout. The forum is useful, even though sometimes the comments are too whiny. Actually, users are responsible and not MacRumors per se.

It’s always been a sounding board for Apple skeptics. Just have a look at the iPod release thread back in the days.

But yes, I agree the amount of negativity around here these days can be soul crushing. Especially in the story comments and the cesspool that is PRSI
