Congratulations!!! Crazy to think I've been here for nearly 10 years of it.

This is the second oldest community I'm a part of, but the other I'm not active on as they haven't done nearly as good a job as Macrumors on keeping everything spry and up to date.

With the latest revamp to the forums, I don't see things slowing down anytime soon. You guys are doing a bang up job, keep up the good work!

Here's to continued success ✌🏾️

I've been a reader since the first few months (subscribed to RSS feed since it was available), and signed up for an account way back in 2003. Made a few dumb comments (like iPod is too expensive, it could never be popular), and some good ones, but mostly read through the posts and appreciated the Apple-centric news that was usually more vetted/well-rounded than other rumor sites at the time (all of which have fallen by the wayside). Congrats, and here's to 20 more!

Many Happy Returns MR!!! Don’t know what I would have done without the advice, news and general LOL moments at some comments in the forums. Here’s s to another 20!!!

Happy birthday Mac rumors !!!

I’m glad you’re around, it’s been a great place to find everything about Apple products and keep up to date with incoming technology, great job !

Wow, 20 years!!! Congratulations for a job well done and which will continue to be well done as we all move into the next phase of Apple and its technological future....

Happy Birthday, MR and many, many thanks to Arn for having started this wonderful site and to all the people who so thoughtfully write for it, administer it, moderate threads and posts in it, and, yes, the very active community of members!

been lurking here since 2001 when I got my first Mac. then joined in 2003. my favorite part of this site is the generally positive attitude of the members, and insights into all things technology. it has been a daily stop for 18/19 years now for me that I still enjoy to this day. great job and I hope for another 20 years of positive readership, creative ideas and thoughts for all mankind.

as soon as I saw OS X and the powerbook, it was clear apple was gonna be a powerhouse. I bought a share at $13. just one. and it has been a wild ride with that share.

If you click on some of those old stories like from almost twenty years ago and read the comments, you'll see that nothing has changed. People complaining about Apple, their "lack of focus", newly announced products that they think will flop but in reality went on to define the industry.

It's just funny how there will always be people who complain and make fools of themselves, from the last twenty years to the next twenty!

Congratulations! I’ve genuinely loved and lived your coverage over the years. A toast... to many more!

Happy birthday!

Love that the Mac name of Macrumors continues in spite of Apple diversifying.

I'm sure I read it in 2000 but it looks like it took me a few years to join.

I remember there was also a MacOSRumors.com back then as well. A number of sites that are now harder to remember. ThinkSecret of course. And there was something called something like Mac the Gay Blade Knife? I know that isn't exactly right. Someone who wrote under a character giving out rumors. Plus MacNN for news. Powerpage.org which I think had a different name.

In 2000 I was away at a summer camp, and I had heard rumors about the Cube but didn't know what it was going to be. It was a foreign language immersion camp so we couldn't look at the Internet or read newspapers. I had my parents print out rumor sites and secretly mail the information to me about the G4 Cube and first learned of that way on the printed page. Just a story to show how important these sites have been to many.

Congratulations, Ive been on here officially for 6.9 (ish years). As well as following longer than that.
