Amazing achivement! Only been here for 2-years but it has been two great years! I Recommend this site and forum to anyone who has a slight interest in Apple :)

Long time lurker first time poster - had to crawl out the woodwork to give a big WELL DONE!!!

Fantastic forum and one I have lost many an hour reading opinions and advice on all things Apple - *raises glass* - Heres to many more!

I finally switched to Mac 1.5 years ago and haven't looked back. Have been reading MacRumors every day for a while now and decided recently to start participating.

MacRumors should enjoy many more member gains through the years as many more find there is less suffering in the orchard.

May Arn pop the bubbly tonight and celebrate.

Only 10 million ?

It felt like there were more than that in the Gizmodo / lost iPhone threads ....

Congratulations - arn & co!!

MacRumors is one of my favorite sites. I come by to check what's going on and to participate at last once a day.

To celebrate this "event" - you really should consider giving the site a major visual overhaul. Your current design looks dated and a little messy in places (you could look to Apple for inspiration).

Anyway, congrats.

I'd be curious to hear theories about what led to the bump in posts per day during the year 2008, compared to the gradually increasing number from year to year.

Must be a lot like me who switched to Mac in 2008. ;) This is a great place to hang out not only for Apple discussion but pretty much ANY discussion. Great work by the staff and mods to make and keep this the best forum on the web!

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (Linux; U; Android 2.2; en-gb; Nexus One Build/FRF50) AppleWebKit/533.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile Safari/533.1)

Wow! What a milestone. Congrats to the MacRumors team. :D

10,000,000 posts, wow. Congrats, MR.

Sadly, only 137 were on topic and worth reading. :D

You know, the same as 95% of the posts here. Some blathering idiot who didn't have the foresight to buy AAPL at a split-adjusted $45 in early 2005, despite being a self-professed fanboy. Or didn't even have the guts to buy at $238 a week ago.

If you were an AAPL shareholder during this time span, you really won't care because you've been laughing your way to the bank all this time.

:D

We get it, you bought some shares, you're a Master of the Universe. Can you change the record now please?

Congratulations, and thanks, to everyone involved in running the site etc.

MacRumors is one of my most frequently visited websites, here's to 20 million.

You sir, are a genius.

"Southpark style: You're driving a hybrid/You bought some/loads of/whatever AAPL shares? Good for you! >.<"

Congratz MR btw ;)

Oh nice one! I hope you guys can keep it up even when its bursting at the seams. It's a mighty fine site.

Perhaps the iPhone?

Exactly what I was thinking. It all seemed to kick off when the iPhone 3G was released.

Doctor Q, are you able to find out the post that is the tenth million?

Edit* found it :) https://forums.macrumors.com/showpost.php?p=10000000 (Seems I was late to the party.)

SWEET!

I wonder, out of the ten million posts, how many were as intellectually stimulating and thought provoking contributory as my congratulatory post of "SWEET!"? :D

Anyway, atta boy MR!
