I'd be curious to hear theories about what led to the bump in posts per day during the year 2008, compared to the gradually increasing number from year to year.
It's more probable that the 2008 bump was due to iPhone discussion, not Android. Even today, there's not a lot of Android discussion here.Probably because of Android handsets is my guess. People got them and wished they had an iPhone, or else had an android handset and ended up getting an iPod touch to supplement it.
I am trying to track down the Android/Droid handset time line, but seems to be focused on 2008 pretty firmly for the start from what I can see.
