Which post was the 10 millionth ?
Probably some whiner complaining about how the next-gen iPhone was ugly or that it didn't have enough features for them to upgrade to.

You know, the same as 95% of the posts here. Some blathering idiot who didn't have the foresight to buy AAPL at a split-adjusted $45 in early 2005, despite being a self-professed fanboy. Or didn't even have the guts to buy at $238 a week ago.

Yes, that clown.

Its good to know the only site that does not make stupid changes *Cough facebook Cough* is doing well. Congrats Macrumors!!!! :) :apple:

This is fact not rumor, wth!

There are many sites that don't make "stupid changes." This site is no different than many on the Internet.

There are some sites that make smart changes. There are some who might argue that this site is not one of them.

Congrats! It's neat to look back and think about how much the site has changed from when I joined 7 years ago... Kudos to the admins and mods for all their hard work. Without them a community this large just wouldn't function. :)

By the way you can thank me for all my multiple postings where I don't use multi-quoting!

I'd be curious to hear theories about what led to the bump in posts per day during the year 2008, compared to the gradually increasing number from year to year.

Probably because of Android handsets is my guess. People got them and wished they had an iPhone, or else had an android handset and ended up getting an iPod touch to supplement it.

I am trying to track down the Android/Droid handset time line, but seems to be focused on 2008 pretty firmly for the start from what I can see.

It's more probable that the 2008 bump was due to iPhone discussion, not Android. Even today, there's not a lot of Android discussion here.

As someone here from nearly the beginning, saw arns wedding pictures, had many great debates with people in the political section (when those posts counted!).

Congrats MR.

Yes, that clown.

Are you boasting because you invested at those times? Why wait till 2005? Any clown could see that AAPL was going to skyrocket in late 2001 with the iPod. My friends father bought it for 8 dollars a share, what a smart bastard he was.

Do you wanna see the statics of my porn sites?

Just kidding.

A lot of effort, vision and determination to achieve success.

its amazing how things have grown here over the time that i've been active. can't quite believe some of the changes and others were quite the norm. fantastic job.
