Congrats Arnold! MacRumors is one of the very few sites that I visit each and every day. Imho, it is by *far* the best Apple rumor and enthusiast site on the Internets (TM). Thanks for making this wonderful site possible and sharing it to the Apple community!

I echo many of the sentiments made by others. Congratulations arn and team for making it 10 years.

Happy 10th

Happy 10th Anniversary from the winds of the far East. Here's wishing one of my favorites sites many more.

Wow!
Med student eh? My daughter's a med student now and although I love Macs and love this site, if she quits now, I'll kill her.
:D

Great site, congrats for making it this long, and the growth that has come since then! I can't believe I have been using this site for 5 years, can't imagine my internet time without it!

I now how you feel Arnold. I founded my forum site almost 8 years ago and it's amazing how things grow. Starting a forum like this is definitely not a get rich quick scheme. It takes years to develop with blood and sweat thrown in.

Congrats on a wonderful accomplishment!

Congratulations!!
I started using MacRumors a few years back, it started by me typing out the address each time, then I added it as a bookmark in a folder, then on my Safari Bookmark Bar in a folder and now it's just 'on the Bookmark bar'!

MacRumors, Facebook, Amazon & Flickr are my most used site.

Once again-congratulations!

:)

Congratulations on ten years. This site is invaluable to me, and I recommend the Buyer's Guide whenever anyone asks me about buying a new Apple product.

Cheers!

I've only been here for a couple of years but under that time this community has grown to one of my absolute favorites :) Hope I can be here for the next decade.

Shed a tear. Have I really been reading MacRumors for 10 years?! Wow, time flies!

I'm glad to see that it has maintained it's style and culture over this time. Other sites tend to evolve and change into a pile of steaming poo that I no longer want to visit anymore. Arn and others, you've held strong all these years. Thanks!

What a huge achievement, congratulations! I'm glad to be along for the ride!

Today marks MacRumors.com's 10 year anniversary. It's a shocking realization that I've been doing this now for a decade. For those unfamiliar with the history of the site, I started it as a hobby back in early 2000 as a place to consolidate interesting news and rumors about Apple. I was finishing my 4th year of medical school at the time and kept the site running as I completed my medical training. But it wasn't until July 2008 that I finally gave up medicine to go full time.

With the growth of Apple, and success of their products, the interest in Apple rumors has grown substantially in the past few years, and MacRumors is stronger than ever. I feel the main strength behind MacRumors beyond tracking rumors has always been the community and discussion about the latest news and happenings. I hope to emphasize that more in the future and continue to build on our strengths.

So, thanks to our readers, staff and volunteers who have made 10 years possible.

Congrats!

Arnold, congratulations on the milestone! You are an inspiration for those who want to pursue a passion instead of going the 'traditional' route. You have done an awesome job with this site (and toucharcade!) so I congratulate you and wish you the best of luck for the future!

Cheers MacRumors.com! You're the reason why I open up a web browser every morning, often half-sleep and untainted by coffee. You're unbiased and relentless, and are the leader in your field. Well done!

Been a fan for over 4 years and never felt the need to post because someone always says something that I have wanted to say.. But this one deserves me to OFFICIALLY JOIN and post for the 1st time!

CONGRATS!!! AND GREAT JOB!!! KEEP IT GOING STRONG!!!

Giving up medicine? A wise decision, Arn. Let’s be straight on the matter: what the world needs isn’t more doctors... just more unsubstantiated rumours about some computer company... :p

Congratulations... :)
