ok- who's been visiting this website the longest?
I remember using the site in the early 2000's when I was managing a dev team and wanted to strategize when to upgrade computers. Now I mostly check it for news relating to app store and app developer issues and occasionally the buyer's guide. I switched to AppleInsider for a while, can't remember why, then came back here when they launched a website redesign that made it harder to read.

A lot of websites have come and gone in that time; congratulations on this impressive milestone!

Been on this website every day (apart from potentially during a digital detox I did once for a week) *every single day* since 2000. Was too young to officially be a forum member back then but pretty sure I joined shortly after then made this account when I got a gmail.

Happy birthday Macrumors.

Also my claim to fame is meeting Arn at a party in SF once 😛

Happy Anniversary! 25 years ago I just bought my first Powerbook G3 Pismo.. never turn back since.

Happy birthday MR and thank you to all the staff, contributors, and forum participants in all these years. I didn’t start on day 1, but I’ve been here for something close to 20 of the 25 and the consistency, quality, and community is hard to come by.

One of my proudest internet moments was providing the photos for the WWDC 2007 SteveNote / Keynote Live blog, tethering my camera to my 1st Gen MacBook Pro with an express card cellular modem, when I was fresh out of high school.

MacRumors, Ric Ford’s macintouch, xlr8 your Mac, version tracker and Mac osx hints were some my go to sites for decades. Some are gone now.

I was a teenager when I signed up for this account. I'm now in my forties.

Somehow, I sadly ended up with two Macrumors forum accounts. This one is little-used but is the older of the two. Incredible how quickly 22 years has passed. Through school, university, relationships, marriage, kids and everything in between.

Although I miss the days when rumours really were rumours, and everything felt new, exciting and very secretive, I appreciate that MacRumors has been as close to consistent as it possibly could be.

Happy Birthday MacRumors! You've remained the greatest Mac Rumor site of them all. You're also my favourite.

Back in 2012 I even made the front page. Sadly the blog that news item references is long deceased, but I found it on the WayBack Machine. A fun trip down memory lane all around!

I love wayback machine. I really wish they'd been around back when I started blogging and making sites. I still use it a lot and donate every year.

Back in 2005 a friend started talking enthusiastically to me about the new iMac she had just bought and was using..... Although I had a vague idea about Macs I really didn't know that much about them and so one day when I had some free time I used my Windows machine and poked around online and discovered MacRumors...... OK, there we go, I'd learn more about this mysterious world that Apple had created with its computers. Hmmmmm.........

I read, and read, and I kept going back to this site and somewhere along the way I began to realize that I, too, had become interested in actually looking more deeply into just what Apple was offering. I went to the store to look at Macs. Hmmmmm again...... To make a long story short, I spent a few weeks reading MR but then one day had a couple of questions to ask and that was when I registered as a member.

Twenty years later, I'm still here, with no plans to leave! :)

Kudos to you, Arn, for having created and nourished what was a fledgling site into a well-respected website filled with energetic, enthusiastic and also questioning, concerned or challenging posts regarding Apple, its products and its ongoing momentum.

Happy Birthday, MacRumors! You've been a surprisingly integral part of my life for a long time. That's really cool..... I guess there's something magic going on here. Long may it continue!

Here's to the next 25 years!
