This is my go-to site every day for Apple news and info. Congratulations of reaching this milestone, and hope there will be many more!

I lurked for a few years than joined when I had something "very important to say" lol. Been mostly a great site with some overzealous and targeting "people" as the only negatives.

Wow I just looked and have been here for 20 years! Thanks macRumors. Thats a great run.

Congrats. Year one visitor, member since 2003. It’s the members that always made it great, and this site really facilitated that.

Looking back, one constant is that there are always a few ‘super posters’ who post at a rate at odds with making a living. They burn out after a few years and move on. 😂

Happy Birthday MacRumors! You guys are the best Mac site Period! Besides the excellent articles and videos the forums are an invaluable source of information on everything Mac. Thank You and keep up the good work! I'll also chime in on what others have said. Part of what makes you guys great is the design and layout of the website. Easy to read and visually appealing so please don't make it "better" with a new design as other sites have.

I remember when it was MacOSRumors.

Here’s an old thread:

(According to the link above, MOSR and MacRumors were not the same site!)

I’ve been here since 2000, easily. Just not on the forums.

Anyone remember AsTheAppleTurns? They were online before MacOs 8 came out.

Those were some pretty dark times. 1997 sucked!
MacNN too. MacRumors has outlasted most. MacInTouch is still around 40 years for them.

It's a milestone day for MacRumors, as today marks our 25th birthday. MacRumors was coincidentally founded on Steve Jobs' birthday of February 24, 2000, with articles starting just a few days later.

MacRumors was founded by medical student Arnold Kim, and it remained a side project for over eight years until he decided to give up medicine to focus on MacRumors as a full-time career. That backstory and additional perspective were shared in a July 2008 New York Times profile.

Through the years, MacRumors grew along with Apple's popularity and added additional writers, editors, and other staff members, with the team now numbering roughly a dozen dedicated folks who live and breathe Apple news and rumors.

MacRumors as it appeared in May 2000

For those of us who have been around MacRumors since nearly the beginning, the past quarter century has somehow simultaneously felt like both a lifetime and a blink of an eye, and we certainly couldn't have done it without our loyal readers and forum members. For 25 years now, MacRumors has been known for its active and passionate community that has reached over a million registered members and over 32 million forum posts. If you're not a member, we invite you to register for our forums and add your voice to our community.

To all who have helped make MacRumors the best place on the internet to learn about and discuss all things Apple, thank you, and here's to another 25 years.

LOVE IT! HAPPY DAZE MR! and ever onwards

Wow! Congratulations! I signed up here 23 years ago... I started using Apple products in 2002 with an iMac G4. Now I'm 51. I still play for the same symphony but I sold my restaurant last year after owning it for 20 years.

Dang how cool! I switched to Apple in 2006 for personal use and started visiting this site daily around then. I really enjoy the content.

Congratulations on the anniversary, for all the quality work you do, being the best forum on the internet, and my number one bookmark since I got an iBook in 2004! 😁👍

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear MacRumors, happy birthday to you!

ok- who's been visiting this website the longest? (don't look me up)
You got me beat by 14 days. 😜
At that point, I had been reading since it launched (slow to make it official). And what a ride! While not possible, I love to see the site return to its. Ore helpful roots and run as far from Likes and

It’s been a great resource, even if it’s highly ironic the homepage crashes all the time on mobile Safari.

Cheers 🎉

I didn't got here until you at least had become a teen, wanted to skip the droooling 😉
Thank you guys - checking your news almost daily ♥️
