I don't really "follow" people but I'm always impressed that when someone asks an esoteric question, chances are someone here has an answer. In that regard, I'd like to give a shoutout to lee1210 and angelwatt. They consistently provide solid info, and sometimes it's to me. There are dozens of others who deserve similar praise, but these stand out.

Gelfin, for his ability to use any number of words, hone them, craft them, and construct a captivating textual mosaic. And then beat you with it.

Jessica, for doing the same thing on the express-lane model, 12 words or less.

I lol'ed. :D

I actually follow a few some for entertainment value others because they give me great opportunity to lay out the 12 words or less response. ;)

Who's on your buddy list?

LethalWolfe is an informed poster I learn from...
xUKHCx sometimes posts interesting satire...
63dot surprises me with open and serious inquiries...
bobber205 is fun to read but l wish she was conservative...

Why thanks. :)

I used to spar with conservative BackToTheMac in the earliest political forum days I believe in the early 2000s, then conservative Desertrat in the years after that, but you are by far the conservative I like to debate most against. And from talking to those other two extensively here, I don't get the feeling they were 100 percent with W all the time. I think, or suspect, you may be the only conservative here that was very happy with Bush/Cheney. That makes you the only true Macrumors neo-con on viewpoints up there with Rush and Coulter.

Without you, Macrumors would be simply a loud liberals self congratulatory website with a few very non-vocal moderates who may have voted for McCain but are ashamed to say so. ;)

Why thanks! I guess my acting years have not gone to waste. I'm still dramatic. :)

Defiantly Abstract. He's hilarious (and with good insight to boot)!

However, I miss Tallest Skill and his ridiculous rants.... (If you guys know and can say what did he get banned for? Was he getting too annoying?)

It's taboo to discuss bannings. Don't worry though, someone told me he just registered under a new name and keeps a low profile. Shrug.

Well, I don't post here very often anymore - and even when I did - it was mostly in the PRSI forum. Most of my favorites are still around, and there are a few that might be around as sparsely as myself...

I enjoy:

1. Leekohler - for his passions already mentioned, but also his constant attempts to reconcile those with basic fairness.

2. IJReilly - I used to really love his input in PRSI - well-reasoned and thoughtful. Haven't seen him around much, I feel the PRSI changes over time may not have agreed with him. Gelfin has become a successor of sorts.

3. Sayhey - Also an older PRSI poster, who along with IJ and Skunk have consistently had the best reasoned or informed posts on most topics.

4. Skunk - No nonsense, and probably considerably smarter than I. Great sense of humor too.

5. Toontra - excellent PRSi poster.

6. LethalWolfe - very practical poster, excellent in the PRSI as he is more to the right of my position.

7. Rdowns - mostly for the smattering of his PRSI posts I've seen lately - he didn't seem as apt to post in the PRSI a while back...some pretty hilarious ones.

8. Many more which I don't have time to write about...

Thanks for the info and memories.

I don't really follow anyone in particular, but there a few people whose posts I am more likely to read more thorougly then others... For many reasons. :D
Same here. If I find a post that's thought provoking or interesting, I click on "more posts by [user]" button. And obviously there are users here that stand out...
Here, go reminisce. :D
I remember reading that 8 months ago. All I have to say is well done, sir.

That is not in fact true. There are a number of thoughtful conservatives here.

Besides Backtothemac and Desertrat, who here is conservative that posts here often? I cannot think of anyone? Who are they?

Sometimes abercrombieboy or leekohler may take a conservative stance on an issue, but they are among the more visible liberals here.

Could it be that—given the thrust of your question—many members of a conservative bent don't care to spend their time in PRSI? As, I'm sure, many of the more liberally inclined members as well.
