strike

it's just the word strike put in brackets [ ] instead of B for bold, U for underline, or I for italic.

this thread should be renamed, "Celebrities of MacRumors"

what i want to know is why no one has mentioned Peace.

He keeps things interesting for me. Especially liked his contributions to the LOST discussions.

Thread Resurrection 2011

So, it's been more than a year since we talked about who we've been following lately around here at MR.

Some I can add to my list include:

Moyank24: funny, insightful, a fellow Texan transplant, and a sports fan
Aggie: a prolific poster who always has something fun or interesting to say
Shrink: despite infringing on my territory as MR mental health, behavioral, and relational expert I enjoy his posts
Plutonius: Got nuthin' but love for you man!
rdowns: sharp as a marble with his wit ;)
iJohnHenry: Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau got nothing on you friend :p
Jaffa Cake: my best friend from across the pond, wait, you're my only friend from across the pond
Skunk: a respectful and educated poster who I very much enjoy talking with and learning from
Renewed: not afraid to speak his mind
Melrose: you are so unpredictable and make me laugh
Appleguy123: you are growing up so fast my young lad

Of course I have to give a shout out to my MR fantasy football ballers and my WW game partners. Our little communities within the MR community are awesome.

Those that made my list in previous posts: (#1 and #126)
Jessica, RedWarrior, Leekohler, Iscariot, Abstract, themoonisdown09, Doctor Q, thegoldenmackid, edesignuk, ucfgrad93, dukebound85, iBlue, Ravenvii, Tomorrow, and Cave Man.

 I'm honored mscriv...so much so that I take back anything I said about you when you kicked my butt in FF or voted to lynch me in a WW game. ;)

Who knew that people actually read what I was writing. So, would it be vain if I copied and pasted that into my signature? :D

No one. Sure, there are a few people I tend to find myself talking to more than others, but that's just because we seem to feel the same (or the opposite) on certain topics.

oooh yea! I like Shrink's and iJonHenry's responses too. Always insightful/witty

Have only been on here since august so no one :(

basically all the people in the iphone, ipod touch, and ipad forum. :D

Agree with all of this. And my mind says:

mscriv: very insightful and full of ideas. great posts to read and learn from.
Moyank24: hilarious and fiesty, but to be expected from a fellow resident of our city.
leekohler: tough, steadfast individual who fights teeth and nails for the right of humans. can't beat that with a stick.
scepticalscribe: every post I read is like a hidden excerpt from some great novel yet to be found. her writing style is fascinating.
iBlue: especially when I was a demi-god she always had something interesting going on to write about it seemed. plus I envy her view from her residence.
r.j.s: rightfully so with his moderator status, however even before hand he was always extremely helpful.
Melrose: I think he really does think he is Barney.
Surely: surely you've all seen his humor, that is if you're awsome.

I follow a lot more and honestly don't have any issues with forum members here but these are some of the most notable IMO.

Thread Ressurection 2012

Yep, it's time to update this thread again. For those who are new to the discussion the idea is to list people who you tend to follow here at MR. This is not a popularity contest, but a way to build community as we show appreciation for others and help broaden our perspectives at the same time. I hope by reading this we will all be exposed to new and interesting friends here at MR.

Lately I've been following:

Huntn - We seem to have similar television and movie interests which are fun to discuss. He also posts some interesting threads in PRSI.
Chrmjenkins - One of my favorite people to play MRville games with. Many don't understand his playing style or how "involved" he gets in the games, but for me it's always enjoyable. Also a very intelligent poster who can talk tech shop, literature, and other fun and interesting topics.
Queen of Spades - Always has strong opinions, but tries to be respectful of others as much as possible. She's fun to talk sports with and always a good player in MRville.

The list of people I have previously mentioned in this thread:
Jessica - I enjoy seeing her turn being blunt into an art form
RedWarrior - so sweet and genuine
Leekohler - strong opinions, yet open to listening to others (usually)
Iscariot - I like living dangerously and knowing he could destroy everything at any given moment for any given reason keeps me on my toes
Abstract - some of the best sarcasm on the forum
themoonisdown09 - makes me laugh
Doctor Q - what else needs to be said, he's the one and only... Doctor Q
thegoldenmackid - no one's faster at getting to post so he can tell people how silly they are for not searching first
edesignuk - starts some of the best threads ever
ucfgrad93 - it always seems like his posts are so well thought out and he tries to be helpful to anyone who posts with questions
dukebound85 - nobody drunk posts better than he does
ravenvii - MRville storyteller extraordinaire
iBlue - so much fun, just don't tick her off
Tomorrow - my reasonable brother
Cave Man - guru on all things mac HTPC related
Moyank24: funny, insightful, a fellow Texan transplant, and a sports fan
Aggie: a prolific poster who always has something fun or interesting to say
Shrink: despite infringing on my territory as MR mental health, behavioral, and relational expert I enjoy his posts
Plutonius: Got nuthin' but love for you man!

Ha, perfect description. Thanks, mscriv, I always keep an eye out for your posts as well. I'll have to give your therapist services a try sometime. ;)

Don't really follow anyone on this site as I don't read things enough for that, but I do respect Leekohler for his ethics and determination to stand up for what is right.
