MacRumors WWDC 2005 Live Keynote Coverage

This suspence is positively killing me....

This is the day we find out about the next decade and-a-half of the Apple platform.
 
Good fun

Usualy I wouldn't be too bothered by this sort of thing, as I really don't mind what powers my Mac as long as I have OSX.

However with all the talk of the Intel rumors and the whys and wherefors I've can't help feeling a certain tingle, personally I hope that the PPC is here to stay and somehow Intel are being brought in to help IBM achieve their goals.

Anyway it's given us all something to chat about, thanks to the guys for the new coverage site, I'll be tuning in.

I'm thinking the same thing. Excitement of getting news live vs. sleepy day at work. It's a tough call. :)

Ditto... and its not just because of the Intel rumours! I've worked myself up thinking that there will be something big announced due to the vail of secrecy surrounding this years WWDC.... and I'm hoping its going to be some revamped PB's - not necessarily G5's - but with a better processor with a higher FSB. And I'm hoping one is a 13.3" widescreen.....

Whatever the outcome I'll be ordering a PB within the week.....

GMT = PDT + 7, therefore it'll occur at 5 PM GMT, or 1700 GMT for those using 24 hour clocks. Remember that BDT (British Daylight Time) is GMT +1...

If they decide to switch to Intel, I've to rush out and by a Powerbook G4...don't want none'a that Intel crap inside of a nice, shiny Powerbook.

Even IF they anounce that move today it will be still months before the PowerBooks will be switched to Intel/AMD.

the new system sounds great - thanks mr team! I think I'm going to have to leave work early for an 'appointment' this afternoon see all the news unfold without having to pretend I'm working at the same time...

I have this hunch that we shall see both the tablet, and intel rumors come true, but they will be connected in that intel will be providing chips for the tablet only (to keep the costs/heat down).

We shall see.

wow that sucks, i rele would like to be able to use this, but i'm at school all day and won't be able to check what things come out of WWDC untill i get home around 4:30 :(
 
Wow some really great stuff...well done to the whole MR team. Now i need to move money to that damn Pay Pal account...I promise the monies are coming your way soon.. :rolleyes:
 
Does anyone know if they are broadcasting the keynote anywhere? Like the Apple stores like they did last year?
