Macrumours - need to have Limit IP Address Tracking disabled?

Seems MacRumours is the only website I visit that needs this setting to be disabled to access the Forum section. Same to check the notifications.

Why does this website NEED to do IP Tracking in the first place to allow access, even when signed in, when no other bookmarked sites (and I have a lot) need it to be so?

I have Apple menu > System Settings > Network > Wifi > Details > Limit IP Address Tracking enabled. Doesn't seem to make any difference with MacRumors.

Thanks all...thing is it DIDN'T used to need me to do it. This has only started happening in the past week or so.

no idea, other than if I have that setting off I can access the forum, with it on the connection times out with a Cloudflare error message.
