in other words, dammed if he does, damned if he does not. on making a statement, on making an appearance.

well he just made a statement - he released a letter saying he IS skipping macworld b/c he is sick. he has a supposedly totally reversible hormone imbalance and will be fine in 6mths allegedly.

i was wondering why it took apple so long to cop to there being a problem. if he did this a few weeks ago there would have been less speculation and rumors which were distracting from macworld. although now i'm sure people will speculate it's a lie and he's dead and just his head has been kept alive or some bs.

Has Jobs lost a significant amount of weight? Yes. However, that doesn't mean his cancer has come back or he is terminally ill. For some reason, the public equates "skinny" with "frail and sick."

You're kidding right? That's the dumbest thing I've read in a long time.

First of all, Steve isn't "SKINNY", he's dramatically thin to the point it caused concern. So unless you support anorexia, I don't get why you'd even state your comment saying that the public equates skinny with frail and sick.

Yes, Steve IS sick and THAT'S why he's not attending the expo.

Read this!

Further more, it's people like you who cannot see the difference between a healthy person and a sick person that's giving way to justify those who are suffering from anorexia etc.

I'm personally sorry to hear Steve in this bad shape, but delighted to hear he's on the road to recovery. Clearly we care about Steve and clearly we want to know what's going on. Sadly it's an invasion of his privacy but we all got worried BECAUSE as he states in his letter, he's been loosing weight and it's become something of a concern to him as well.

It's NOT normal to go from what he used to look like to what he looks like now, any normal person would be able to see that he's not quite healthy.

And yes, we'll support Steve all the way, it's good to hear they've found the reason and a cure to his health issue.

Good Luck Steve!

bingo. again. damned if he does, damned if he doesn't.

and he didn't say anything because it is personal. it shouldn't have to be anyone's business but his, his family and his doctors.
