No way are quad-cores going into low-end Macbooks at this time. They are much too expensive for anything but the highest-priced MB Pro, if that. And I think quad-cores will deliver little or no performance gain until Snow Leopard.
junk iMac screens? I've got a 20 incher and beg to differ. If Apple isn't careful, they are going to "differentiate" their smug, arrogant *sses into a customer backlash against their neglect of timely computer updates over the last few years and charging outrageous prices for stale, old technology like combo drives, junk iMac screens, Lousy wi-fi performance and ancient, underperforming video cards.![]()
Macworld had better be about Macs and good value in a big way. I believe Apple can do it. If not, they should split off computers into a separate company and make Woz the CEO. He still cares about computers and it shows. Here's hoping for a great Macworld.

Please update the Mac mini or replace it with something similar, i.e. costs under 1000$ (or ideally a lot less than that), and screen-less.
So what do think we will get at Macworld?
1. I think the migthy mouse will be replaced by a multi touch "pad". This way all macs will have multitouch. Something like this: https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/437352/
Mulititouch will also be a huge part of snow leopard since 3rd party dev. can program for it.
2. More Snow Leopard
3. New Apple TV maybe with an app store and safari browser.
4. Maybe just maybe an Iphone with better camera and unibody.
What do you think we will see?
