My problem with my Magic Mouse is my Dashboard seems to open up randomly while touching or moving the mouse around.

I have MagicPrefs installed and the best I can tell I do not have ANY gesture set to open it yet several times a day while using it, my Dashboard just opens.

I'm not sure what is causing it and can't make my hand do anything to duplicate it.

Is ANYONE seeing this? Aside from that, I love this mouse, and MagicPrefs makes it even better!

Thanks
David

After using BetterTouchTool for months, the three finger gestures have become muscle memory for me. I often forget that they're not built in by default. A huge mistake not to include them, unless Apple is saving them for the Magic Pad

Just found out and installed the bettertouchtool...

works very well, and you can disable and enable virtually anything you can think of...

Free too... won't be long until this functionality is provided in an Apple software update, but in the interim... an amazing find, and the guy who developed it seems pretty keen to work out any kinks you might find.

Anyway, kudos to *LTD* who gave me the suggestion.

Enjoy!

I actually have a Magic Mouse - and just looked everywhere -- there is no way to mouse-only initiate expose. You can program a corner, or a "right click+key combo" but that's about it.

(I got my Magic Mouse when I purchased an iMac a few days ago. I don't believe they're commonly available by themselves yet.)

It really seems like the guys working on the mouse didn't talk to the guys working on the glass track pad. I mean, how hard would it have been to invoke all of the swipes from the trackpad? Or even from the AIrmouse application for iPhone?
One finger down for scroll, two or three for expose! How about pinch for expose?
Apple make such brilliant machines and I love the aluminium keyboard (but it could do with USB 2 powered ports though). How come they can't get the mice right?

But on minor gripes, why no full number-pad wireless keyboard? Some of us actually do real work on these things too.
