I'm surprised no one has received delivery yet.. I want to see pics before I order one. Come on guys!
Lol me either. I'd love to show you but I haven't gotten anything I was told it was going to ship yesterday or the day before so I'm guessing fir or sat.
FYI. Magpul is notorious for delayed release of new products. It's no surprise there should be a lag with individual sales at the release. Most people (like me) who purchase a lot of their gear (mags, stocks, rail accessories etc.) don't resent them for it simply because they make gear that I like and (in my experience) have good support.

Worst customer service ever. I can live with it taking a while to ship I can't live with being lied to very unprofessional. The whole it's shipping today or tommorow almost a week ago doesn't sit well. No tracking no info nothing. Took my money though.

here they are so far first impression is it's a tight fit. I'm a bit disappointed it's essentially a field case with a different coating inside I was under the impression it was a two piece case. Guess that was the dice I rolled having no information or photos prior to the release.

----------

Whoever was asking if it sags on the bottom yes! It does ! Honestly I feel like I pad 26 dollars for a worst version of the field case. Lackluster release the case is uneven around the phone no like at all field case back on .

Wow. Mine should be in today when I get home. If mine has problems I might as well just stick with my field case and color in the lettering with a grey marker.

That’s disappointing. The case looks like one of those all-weather inserts in the back floor of my truck. I have the regular field case incoming.

How about some pics next to the standard Field Case???

...and on the 5s? :D

Mine fits just as snug as the field case.
It's a smidgen thicker but I'm not sure if notice the difference if I wasn't looking for it.
I'm keeping mine.

On your case when it's on your phone is it obvious the bezel is exposed unevenly on one side? I might have gotten a bad batch but this case barely provides a lip on the phone.

Magpul Bump Case

Just received the new Magpul Bump case. I have to say, I'm very disappointed in this case. I've been using the Field case and thought for sure the Bump case would be a big improvement. It's basically the same case with a slightly thicker coating inside the case. The black one is actually two tone gray and black, and the Magpul logo on the back is now silkscreened and not embossed like the field case. The sides are a bit firmer on the Bump case due to the thicker interior coating. The Field case is a little more flexible. Not worth the extra money.

Okay, mine's been sitting outside my front door for one or two days.

I'm not quite getting the need for the Bump...

It's firm like the Field Case, ever so slightly larger feeling overall -- millimeters, I'd say -- but feels the same generally in hand. Pressing down on the inside of the empty case, I do not feel anything particularly "cushiony" like you get with a CandyShell. (You also won't get the scratches the CS so easily accumulates.)

There is a tiny bit of droop just below the home button, the same as my FC. The buttons might have a scosche more positive feeling to them (volume buttons are improved), the slightly deeper mute button hole speaks to a bit more thickness, and I'd say there's more "lay on the table" screen protection.

I do see more metal around the edge on the right side of the screen... just a sliver, though. That might change over time.

One inconsequential thing is it's quite difficult to get the case out of the inner plastic form that holds it in the box, fwiw.

I don't use glass screen protectors, but the Bump might be friendlier for those if it was a problem with the Field Case.

I'll give the Bump Case a few days to see what other impressions develop. The photos above depict the colors/seize/etc. correctly, imo.

Thanks for your impressions! Is the camera / flash hole any larger than the field case?

Larger, not that I can tell. Deeper, maybe just a little.

All of the Bump cases will have the gray that you see on the inside of the Bump case as a two tone color that surrounds the screen, surrounds the flash hole, covers the center sections of the top and bottom of the iPhone, and makes up the "Magpul" logo on the back.

Magpul assures me there is more drop protection with this two layer system. Their goal was to add protection without adding bulk. I can tell you the cases are nearly indistinguishable in size. I cannot attest to the added drop protection as I won't be using my 5s as a test dummy-- fingers crossed.

I'm still waiting for a FDE Bump case to arrive so I can post pictures. I'm sure an orange Bump will show the differences best, if someone has one and is willing to post pics.

@droidrage, thanks for the high res photos! it kills me that the magpul logo isnt engraved, and the bump pads look like cut up erasers that were stuck onto the case. not what i was expecting from magpul. :(

guess ill be sticking with my field case.

Wow, very disappointing feedback from most of y'all bump case owners. This thread is almost 4 months old and curious to get some current feedback. Is it worth the extra money over the field case? I am really digging the two-tone look of the orange case with the grey accents. I've had my orange field case for about a year and thinking about trying the bump case.

...have to agree!!

I was going to order one of these as my previous case, the UAG case, just didn't seem to want to fit on my iPhone 5 properly?

I have an SGP Glass T.R screen shield on my iPhone 5 (one of the original versions which aren't super slim) - will the Magpul still work with this?!

EDIT : Nevermind - have now ordered one which will be replacing my Spigen Tough Armor!!

I had the magpul field case and loved it until it loosened up after 6+ months of use. My phone had noticeably more room in the case and I would notice the gaps. I ordered the magpul bump case. Maybe I'll have the same issue but magpul is the only case I've stuck with exclusively for this long

To those that have a case....where did you order from?

Magpul looks like the only place right now, $16.95 + shipping. The Magpul cases for iPhone 6 on Amazon are $29.

The 6 Plus case will be available in a few weeks.

eta: Looks like you can't order the 6 case from their site.
