Magpul Executive Field Case

Just got my free case today. First, I would just like to say thanks for the case!
First impressions...it is an awesome case. Fits very snugly and is pretty much flush with the front of the screen (no hang over like the bumper). It looks like it will provide good protection, too. All buttons work great and the texture is really nice, too. No issues with the flash on the camera so far, either.
Great product...would highly recommend!

Nick, I might have already mentioned this but have you guys thought about designing a holster for this case to clip or slide into that would fit a duty belt (2.25" wide I think)?? IMO you would have a gold mine if so. I'm in Law Enforcement and it's VERY hard to find a holster for duty belts that will hold an iphone. Sounds like the case is already solid enough, now it just needs a sturdy, simple, swivel holster to hold the case. I've had to fabricate a holster to fit mine and all my coworkers that have the iphone have had to do the same. Please consider it!!! Can't wait for the case to arrive! I'll definitely be buying a couple of the other colors.

I agree that a solid clip holster would be great for law enforcement! I'm a LE officer as well, and have to keep my phone in my pants or shirt pocket. Not very comfortable. Something that keeps the phone close to the belt, not like the otterbox which sticks out. Maybe something like the older, rugged Nextels.

FWIW all this talk about a Holster made me try my IGg Bumper Holster on the Magpul Executive Case that I received ("OLD" version) & the Holster WORKS! I purchased it back back on October 2010 to use w/my ID case https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1021077/.

Either one of those would be perfect but neither one of them will fit on a duty belt. That's the problem with most holster's. None of them will fit a wide (2.25") belt. If someone could come up with one then I would be all over it!

I just received my 2 FREE Magpul cases, one for the iPhone 4 and one for the 3G.
First off, thank you very much to Nick and Magpul! Both cases are very, very nice and well made cases.
The iPhone 4 case is like a desert color and matches the covers of my picatinny railed AR-15. The case is snug and fits perfectly all around. Slight lip on the front for lay down protection, and the notches on the back are perfect sized, not too big and not too small. Feels very comfortable in the hand. The material is a firmer form of plastic and does not collect lint.
The ONLY thing about this case, and only this case, is that it is the older model that was not redesigned at the camera hole. The hole is slightly low and is keyhole design. I tried snapping a few photos with the flash on, and I did not notice any flash issues, but the photos were taken during the day in my bedroom. Not sure how it will be in a dark place but I'll try later.
The 3G case is an awesome case as well. I received the black one and I like the back design because it kind of remind me of a grenade.
The front totally exposes the chrome lip on the front so it will not interfere with any front screen protectors.
For both cases, the earphone jack appears large enough to accommodate any type of headphone jack, although I only tried my Apple and Zagg Smartbuds.
The volume rocker and the sleep awake switch are firm but easy to press. The vibrate switch cutout is a little on the small side, but easily reachable with my short fingernail.
The bottom charge port fits the Apple charger perfectly, and it seems like it won't fit docks and aftermarket chargers. The speaker and mic cutouts are perfect!
So all in all, these are great cases, especially for the price. I highly recommend them!

Yup... Magpul was the first place I went to. Their online store doesn't have a "buy" or "purchase" button/option for the iPhone 4 Executive case. Unless I'm missing it somewhere. All it says is that the case is shipping to dealers and distributors.

LOVING this case on my 3GS.
Fits way better than a $20 iFrogz or a $25 Incase perforated case. Both of those had multiple corners or sides that fit loosely and make the case feel squishy.
This one pops on fast and feels as slim as the perforated Incase case. The covered buttons aren't hard to press at all and I don't worry about killing the phone using it when my hands might be slightly damp after scuba diving.
The material has a great feel: not squishy or sticky like rubber, but not slippery like shiny plastic.
I love it, and for $10, it is a steal. I want to go talk to the managers at Best Buy and Walmart and ask them why they are selling crappy cases when they could be selling a Magpul! Magpul, please get this product out there! It's a great product, and it seems to me you could easily make money on it.

I missed the pocket and it dropped straight onto the asphalt roadway, bouncing once and ended up face-down Can you say road rash? Gouges on the right corner of the case next to the sleep/awake button , but that's it. Phone works perfectly, no scratches or any other battle scars. It wasn't that far of a drop, maybe 4 feet, but thank you Magpul for saving my phone for another day!

first off nick thanks for all the cases they are great.
i wont post the full review cause you guys all got the case from nick. only thing i was weary about was the stiffness of the volume buttons but they arent even that bad. this is a top five favorite case for me.here are a few pics
