I believe it's made of the same polymer the pmags (polymer magazine) are constructed. Not soft like the TPU I've felt.

What I mean by thicker than the Executive Field case for the iphone 4 is that the material itself is thicker. If you have an Executive Field case to compare to, look at the camera cutout and/or the cutouts on the bottom of the case - you can clearly see that the material of the Executive Field case is thinner than this case. The Field case for the iphone 4 was thicker than the Executive Field case for the iphone 4 as well - the Field case is just a bulkier, more protective case. It's not a huge difference but it's a difference nonetheless.
And it's definitely bulkier than the Tones - I've compared them side by side and it's obvious. I also tried to dock my phone in my ProClip holder in my car this morning and it wouldn't even fit because the holder is set up for the Tones case. I have to widen it to allow the Field case to fit into it.

I understand that an executive 5 case is coming, but they have been quite busy recently, which delayed it.
Also, Magpul may be moving, so that would delay it even further. If the 5S is the same size, I'd expect the executive case around that time.

Now I see what your saying...yes it is thicker material because it is enhanced polymer used for the iP5
You are correct about that
I take your word that its slightly thicker than the Tones because I got rid of my Tones. If anything though, it's very slight.
Just didn't want to steer people away from buying this case by the way you say it's bulky because its far from that.
Cool. Please post it if you find it. I like the Field case but the Executive is really the one I want.
Somebody post a damn link to somewhere it's in stock so I can buy one of these!

Friend of mine had a problem with one for the i4 and Magpul sent a free replacement. I'd contact them directly.
Wow - that's a real bummer. I don't like the Field case nearly as much as liked the Executive.

Be aware of Botach Tactical worse customer service ever if you have a problem with the order and have to deal with them......If you've ever been on any of the firearm forums their reputation isn't very highly.They have the lowest prices but they don't update their inventory on their website and you'll find out weeks later that the item you ordered was on backorder and your credit card was charged.
