Mine says it hasn't left LA yet. They're going to have a hard time getting it to me by their expected date of Monday if that's true. I may have to email them too.
i have had my i5 magpul on for about a week- this is the best case for the money hands-down- I don't know of any other case that fits so well- for a pop-on case the sides stay stiff and avoid stretching out or getting loose- I have already had two people ask " what kind of case is that?" - this case also fits my Siedio holster very well which makes for a really nice combo...
Don't get so worried about there not being an executive field case. The new case is basically a hybrid between the old field case and exec field case. It is thinner (less bulky) than the old field case but sturdier than the exec field case. I have already pre-ordered two FDE cases for myself and one orange for my wife, but couldn't bear the wait and so I went ahead and bought a black field case in the mean time. I can tell you that I am an EXTREMELY PICKY person when it comes to phone cases. I do not settle for bad design or craftsmanship, and I LOVE (LOVE LOVE LOVE) this case.
For those of you new to these cases, the case just feels "right" in your hand. It's light weight, sturdy, and can take a beating. If you don't believe it, google "magpul iPhone accidental drop test". Now that I have this case, I don't even think in passing about considering "new" cases that are released.
The ONLY downside I have found with these cases, was that the edges of the executive field cases for the iPhone 4/4S would begin to stretch very slightly after about 6 months. This is a very minor deal given how good these cases are otherwise. Especially since they cost $13, you can buy two or three of them for the price of other cases on the market. I would gladly buy plenty more of these cases, especially if one of the "new colors" they have alluded to ends up being the Shadow Gray that they released for the MOE AR Furniture. This is the end-all of iPhone cases! And furthermore, IT HAS THE DURABILITY OF AN OTTERBOX WHILE NOT BEING A BRICK, AND AT A TINY FRACTION OF THE PRICETAG!!!!

Got the case today and am extremely impressed with it. Thought it might be a bit thicker/heavier, but it's pretty much perfect.
Where is the best place to order one of these from that has them in stock and ships right away?
Well mine finally arrived. Love it. One of the best cases I have bought and also one of the cheapest. It was worth the wait. Still wish it would have came sooner but I lived. #

I'm glad that everyone heres like the Field Case but I'm still holding out hope that they come out with Executive Field Case. I think I would have liked the Field Case a lot better if it was the first case I used; however, since I got my Switcheasy Tones first and I like it so much, I'm having a hard time getting used to the Field Case.
Mine has been stuck in LA since the 7th. They keep saying they've shipped it out, but it keeps saying "Processed through USPS Sort Facility".
I've got all of the colors on order directly from Magpul and they're currently on backorder which means it'll take a while until these hit retail/resellers.
Although I like everything else about the case, the power button is not clicky. The volume buttons, while take some getting used to, are very responsive though. Im very particular about button responsiveness though.
Ditto. Very pleased with the case. I'll keep an eye out for the Magpul Bump case still though.
I agree with everyone's opinions so far. This is a lot slimmer than the 4 Field case. Fits perfect, is shockingly thin, fed great in hand and looks awesome on my white iPhone 5. Great case by Magpul once again.
