Ugly, why? It’s not meant for a constant table side solution. I’m a flight attendant so I’m constantly on the go. For me its the perfect solution to have in my bag. Fold it up, have one charger and one cable, charges all of my devices on my layover.
I like it, too, but I disagree that it's "not meant for a constant table side solution." It absolutely is.

I agree....I travel and its the best travel solution ive had

Here is another shot of the ESR case. I guess it will depend what case you get....I put my 12pro in there and it did charge. Just wonder if it would have any adverse effects.

I really like the sarcastic tone of his reviews of iPhone 13, but we all know apple can’t ignore him

It's easy to make a snarky comment that the days of Steve looking at every product detail are long past their prime. It's like how Gen X complain about there being no music videos on MTV anymore. (My generation lives in YouTube video music.)

Anyway, if there is a new version which uses USB-C instead of lightning cables, that would be worth the upgrade. Honestly, Apple should have launched with that to begin with.

I bought the duo charger last year. I prefer normal fast charging. Can I return it to apple. Ha ha

MagSafe (iPhone edition) and everything around it seem poorly thought out, from sizing and dimensions to magnet strength to an assumption that vendors would pay apple to enable higher wattage charging (which they mostly haven't, hence the glut of "magsafe compatible" standard qi chargers with magnets limited to 7.5w) to apple's own usage (limiting wattage draw on the magsafe battery for ex to 5w) to... etc. Even the form factor is kludgy, hugely bulky for something that seems to have an end goal of replacing a plug....

I wonder if there's some completely seperate product team at Apple that doesnt talk to their standard phone/etc teams building magsafe in a vacuum..

As long as the case doesn't interfere with other MagSafe chargers (ie. car mounts), I don't mind. This is a 'lying on a table next to the bed' charger really.

haha glad I didn’t buy one of those pieces of junk. It’s a money racket, who’s going to keep buying charging stands or whatever like that. Get a 20-40 buck one off Amazon call it a day

My apple clear 13 pro max case seems to fit perfectly on my MagSafe duo, it’s close admittedly but does seem to “attach” just fine
