How is typing (and general use) on the phone with the wallet attached?
I have no issues with typing and general use with the wallet attached. It’s a bit thicker but isn’t too heavy or cumbersome.
But pairing this with the Pro Max might just push it over the edge of being comfortable, especially with the new square edges of the phone.

Just Ordered one in San Francisco and cancelled my online order :)

On a lark, I checked the apples stores nearby, and found they had one in stock. Bought through the app, and just picked it up.

Reminds me a lot of a wallet I had for years with my iPhone-the Kapotas Airstik. Very similar. Fits a license and 2 credit cards easily. Feels like there is a clip of some sort at the bottom that keeps the cards secure.

Easy on, easy off. Does not some off when the phone is shaken. I wouldn't hate the magnet being slightly stronger, but all in all it's fine.

I do love the fact that I can reach into my pocket and take the wallet off my phone without taking everything out. Works great with the silicon case as well.

Still no availability here. :(

I'm generally underwhelmed with the recent updates, but would consider upgrading from my X to 12 when they start shipping these in Malaysia. Great replacement for the thingy I use to carry the 3 most important cards (money, work, home). Since I don't use any old-school styled keys, that's all I need. Especially if I can slide a Tile in there along with the 3 cards and folded-up "emergency" RM100.

I thought Apple wanted us to get rid of our wallets, as in ApplePay? I recall Tim Cook going on about it during an iPhone event and telling us that we didn't need to carry a wallet anymore.
Unfortunately, we drivers still need to carry licenses. And I use Apple Pay as much as I can, but I still carry one card, just in case.

This wallet is right up my alley.

And this video allays my fears about the card(s) falling out.

As noted by 9to5Mac, it also appears that some customers are beginning to see their online orders marked as shipped earlier than expected. Many of these customers are seeing an estimated delivery range of November 2-9.

Priced at $59 in the United States, the MagSafe Wallet is designed to magnetically attach to the back of iPhone 12 models, allowing customers to carry a few credit cards or IDs with their device. The wallet is designed with tanned European leather and is offered in four colors: Baltic Blue, California Poppy, Saddle Brown, and Black.

May we pay more for stronger magnets?

Until Tim can figure out how to include drivers ID’s, Military ID’s (and the like), CAC cards, CCW licenses and on and on I think we are stuck with wallets despite what Apple wants.

I am struggling with this accessory. It's not a case - so minimal protection and it's not big enough to carry more than 3 cards - so I'd have to swap out which cards I want to carry at one time. Might as well take my actual wallet.

Add to that you can not charge through it, so you might as well just use a lightning cable. Which brings me on to MagSafe.. I can only assume Apple has some great ideas up it's sleeve as the disc that magnetically attaches to your phone is huge!! Yes it attaches really easily but come on... is it that tough to insert a lightning cable.

As someone who travels a fair but I like to travel light. Much prefer to take a short lightning cable than that thing!!

I got one, it's stronger than you think but still not as good as I would like on the clear plastic case. You have to take the wallet off the back to get any of the contents out and you have to start with the furthest one back. So the most often used card should be in the back. Not sure I like that instead of having an individual pockets for cards and cash.

Picked mine up today and it has only been a day, but it holds in place very well and I can also take credit cards out easily. Will see how it performs over the weekend. I have it attached to the Apple Silicone case.
