Mail messages full display in landscape mode

Could someone please help me to know how to view an email message in full screen width in landscape mode?

I thought I used to be able to view a message in full, but now the folders are on the left and the messages are on the right.

Depends on what phone you have. I'll assume a large screen (Pro Max or Air) where landscape "Defaults" to sidebar on the left in Mail.

Best option I know of in that case, is Settings > Display & Brightness > Display Zoom > Larger Text

You might also be able to force it by using some Accessibility options.

I have the base iPhone 17, and mails show full screen.

As mentioned above, you probably have a larger screen so have space to show both the mail and sidebar.
